Works as good as the OEM
My 2003 Ford Escape Limited (179k miles) started showing signs that the IAC valve was failing (original one). Went online to all my local part stores and the lowest price one was $78.00. Went on Amazon and found this one nicely priced and took less than 20 mins to remove the old and install the new! Fixed my issues and working perfectly great. I approve the quality product!

2003 Ford Escape: Car isn't struggling to start anymore
This fit my 2003 ford escape. The car was struggling to start but always did after several seconds. Alternator and Battery were fine. Ignition coils had been changed ~1 year ago, and they tested fine. IAC tested fine, but I still pulled it off to check and noticed it was crusted with build-up inside. Popped this new one on and the car starts immediately. If you're having trouble with the car starting and you think it could be the IAC valve, take it off (its easy to reach and only has 2 bolts) and look inside. If its got a nice crust of gunk in there, it might be it.

Immediately solved my 2003 Escape's problem. Easy, two bolt installation, HOWEVER--the gasket provided did not work for my car. I'm not sure how the gasket was supposed to fit the part itself--the airways (holes) are totally different. I bought https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000C2GFOG/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_5 for the correct gasket.

Bought this product as it stated that it's compatible for a 2003 Ford Escape. I installed it and my vehicle ran worse than the old original valve. Ended up purchasing an actual Ford OEM iac valve and compared the 2, The Delphi has an extra compression spring that caused horrible rpm fluctuations, stalling, braking issues and numerous other issues. Replaced with the Ford OEM valve and vehicle runs normal
