Saved my xp-440!! Important tips for success
My yellow print head on my Epson xp-440 was severely clogged (completely blank print). I tried every other less-invasive procedure I could find but nothing worked. Bought this fluid as a last resort thinking my printer might be toast, but it WORKED! The product came as described (100ml bottle, syringe, gloves, instructions). Felt a little small for the price, but considering it saved me from buying a new printer, it's worth it. It is very important that you follow the instructions and watch some videos for your specific modal of printer before giving it a try. Print heads are very complex and delicate, if you inject with too much force you can burst the print head tubes and permanently damage your printer. And if you drip fluid all over the inside of your printer you could cause a short circuit. You must be extra careful, clean and patient. This is not a 10 minute fix; expect to spend a good weekend on it. Important tips: 1 - If you can, only remove the ink cartridge of the color you need to clean. If you need more space to access, remove all the cartridges, fit the syringe tube over the right color, then put the other ink cartridges back. It takes a long time to inject the fluid (at least it SHOULD if youโre doing it right), during which the other ink nozzles will start drying out if theyโre exposed to the air for too long, causing more clogs. This happened to me but itโs not too hard to fix, just have to use some more fluid. 2 - When injecting, use BABY pressure. Even slower than is shown in videos online (where they are usually using brand-new clog-free printers for show). It should almost look like the handle isnโt moving, THATโs how slow. The nozzle tubes inside the print head are miniscule; if you think about the physics, even a tiny amount of pressure on the syringe handle becomes exponentially more pressure inside those tiny tubes. So have PATIENCE. 3 - I layered a paper towel strip and two strips of watercolor paper (because itโs what I had) as my โblotting paperโ. Worked well to catch the mess. 4 - Warm up the fluid per instructions. Makes a big difference. -Finally, this is how I cleaned my print head: Filled the syringe with 4ml of warmed cleaning fluid. Then gently fit it over the yellow ink inlet (the one that was clogged). With BABY pressure, I injected a tiny amount of fluid, just enough to get it into the print head. Then I left it attached like that for about 3 hours total. I came back every half hour and gently worked the syringe handle (pushing and pulling), slowly injecting a little more fluid every time until the whole 4ml were used. I then replaced the blotting paper and repeated the process with about 3ml of fluid. Once finished, I cleaned up the inlet area with a que tip, replaced the ink cartridges and let my printer sit for another few hours before turning it back on and running a test print. Itโs important to let your printer sit for some time after cleaning for a couple reasons (1) to let the remaining juice inside the print head do its thing, and (2) to give any possibly missed drips of fluid/ink inside your printer time to dry out before you start running electricity through the machine (precaution to avoid short circuits). After all this, I had to run a cleaning cycle only once for my yellow to show up perfectly! Very happy with my purchase!

It works
I got this flush kit for my Epson Workforce all-in-one printer/scanner. The print began streaking one day and the more I tried to fix it, the worse it got until all colors would no longer print anything. So, I gave this kit a try and Bam! I flushed the heads once and got immediate results on all heads. They weren't perfect yet. But, they were at least working again. I tried a few more times, also applying the tips in the manual, like heating the solution and reversing the pressure a few times. Eventually, most all of the streaks went away. I now just have minor streaking and splatter from the black head. I suspect this might be dried ink on the outside of the head, which this kit wasn't designed to address. But, a Q-Tip, a drop of the solution, and a lot of luck at blindly finding the head should do the trick. Update (24 hours later): As for the planned Q-Tip procedure, it was a really tight fit, even for just a Q-Tip. But, it did allow me to find and remove the suspected cluster of dried ink. So, the black-splatter problem appears to be resolved along with less streaking. I still have only 5 black nozzles left to unclog (yeah - so good I can count the bad ones left). About 1.5 dozen yellow nozzles and most of the cyan and magenta nozzles are clogged again. So, it could be something wrong with the capping station (the part that keeps the nozzles from drying out) for the color nozzles. Update (1 week later): I gave the color print-head another two good flushes, with some extra soak-time for the troublesome magenta. Voila! Nearly perfect. The rest will probably work themselves out the more the printer resumes use.

Check thoroughly before you buy, you may not need it ... but works great if you do!
It works as intended. But as it turned out I didn't really need it. OnlyOffice software was causing the problem when it updated to the new version. It will over ride the printer default settings and I thought colors head was all clogged up, since it no longer printed color. I thought it would have more pressure squeezing the fluid through but it went through easily. And it still would not print color. Then I used a different word processor and it printed color. Almost bought a new printer, thinking the head would no longer print color.

Helps ... But May Not Be a "Silver Bullet"
I had a pretty badly clogged print head for the black ink and it rendered my WF-3640 pretty much unusable. I was pretty angry, if the truth be told, because the printer isn't that old and certainly hasn't been used heavily. That, by the way, can be a problem for these printers from what I've read - too infrequent usage. I've always used Epson-branded ink, as far as I can tell, though prior to the bad clog, I did install a black cartridge that, while in an apparently sealed bag, was obviously not vacuum-sealed like previous cartridges. (I don't know that my experience with HP printers has been much better.) I figured this was worth a shot. From the reviews here, I wasn't expecting great instructions, but there is plenty on the Web about various cleaning methods, and the instructions aligned with them. One thing I was more intentional about than I think the instructions suggest, is to push fluid in gently, then draw it back out in several cycles. Also putting a folder up paper towel below the print heads was a helpful trick I saw elsewhere. That caught a lot of fluid that would have otherwise made a mess. Cleaning just one head I used 20-25% of the product. Drawing the fluid back out it looked fairly unchanged when I finished, where it was quite black on the first couple of cycles. After flushing, the printing is improved, but not as good as when the printer was new by a considerable stretch. I may give it another go at some point, but my expectations are pretty low based on my experience thus far. It's not clear that getting it serviced, or trying to replace the print head myself (the next thing suggested if flushing doesn't work) is worth the cost or effort. Like many things today, buying new may cost lest than repairing. I've attached the print head check after doing quite a bit of printing a few days ago (and flushing a few weeks back), and there is still evidence of considerable clogging. After a self-cleaning cycle, the number of missing dots was roughly half. I was hoping for better results, and maybe I extended the life of the printer a little, but this isn't a "silver bullet" based on my experience with a WF-3640.

Totally worked!
I had problems with my Cyan color in the Epson ET-2760 Ecotank printer for several months. After running many printer head cleaning cycles and not solving the problem, I ordered this product. My printer now works perfectly - so pleased. The directions in the kit were well done - follow them! I also watched a youtube video of using a similar product before I disassembled my unit - which gave me greater confidence that I was not damaging anything. I'm not super mechanical, but I was able to easily do each step. Also, be patient and inject the solution slowly and wait the suggested times for allowing the solution to do it's job. You will need about 24 hours to complete the whole process. Plan accordingly since you will not be able to use the printer during that time. Here is how it worked for me: I did two round of the warmed cleaner (one-hour apart). I chose to do the heavy duty cleaning, which suggested waited overnight (or 12 hours) and applied a third round. After reassembling the printer head, I ran a "Power Cleaning" through the printer settings (it's not obvious how to start that mode, as you have to hold down two buttons at the same time, but I found direction specific to my model on youtube for that too). Make sure your ink tank is over half full as a "power cleaning" does use a bit of ink. My model then recommended letting the printer sit for another 12 hours before printing a nozzle check. After running nozzle check - everything now looks perfect!

Effective and efficient printer head cleaning solution
I purchased this due to my printer setting for a long time and nozzles clogged. So I was hoping to find a product that could do the job and be cost effective. So I got the solution soaked my printer head in it overnight and the next morning my printer was unclogged. Came with the liquid and I like it came with gloves and a nozzle with the tubing already attached and ready to go . Instructions were easy to follow as well. Most cleaners you buy do not come with tubing so you can pull the ink out the printer . Overall product functionality was great unclogged the printer. Quality was good again it did the job and it was easy to use , and price was a lot cheaper than most. Pros-the product works for what it is intend to with ease. Cons-solution is red but you can see your ink Overall great product and will buy again.

Follow the instructions, works well, if slightly messy.
I admit, I was skeptical if this would actually work. It arrived, in a plastic shipping envelope, well sealed. In the box, you get the fluid, syringe, and manual, as pictured. Following a video I watched earlier, which inspired me to buy this, I performed the cleaning. I am pleased to announce, it did actually work, to make my Epson XP-440, function again. Before this cleaning, only the yellow and cyan would print. A word of preparation and recommendation is to not force the fluid through the print head, as I heard on the video, and in other words, states in the instructions. It's not a fire hose force needed. GENTLY push on the syringe, making sure the tube is over the ink nozzle. I held the tube with my other hand to ensure it didn't pop off while pushing the cleaner through. Under the print heads, I slipped two sheets of paper strips to catch the cleaner and ink discharge. I should have used more like four straps, cut about an inch and a half wide. I was told 20mm on the video. But definitely use at least three strips, and make sure they come across the whole print head, out the other side. I filled the syringe, but did not end up using but about 2/3 of what was in the syringe. I put the rest back in the bottle for future possible use, made sure the bottle was capped tight. Once done, draw out the paper strips carefully, they will be wet and messy with ink. If you have latex or nitrile gloves, I suggest wearing them to keep ink off your hands. Have a trash can or bag at the ready to toss the inky, wet straps out, watch for drips. Paper towel around where the track is, where the head is sitting, to the right of the carriage, and blot the area, a few times. I then gently blotted inside the cartridge carriage, around the nozzles to clean up excess fluids. Using too much fluid, you risk getting it in the circuitry. Avoid that, definitely. Follow the instructions, take your time, and be patient. Those are key. The fluid in the bottle should be warmed, by using hot water in a small bowl, set the main body of the bottle in the hot water to warm up about three minutes before you start. I used faucet hot water, which, if it's about 115 degrees or slightly better, should do well. Do not microwave the bottle of solution. Again, follow the instructions, and you'll do fine. It does work to clear clogged print heads. Though a bit messy, worth the $13 I spent to have my printer back.

Saved my expensive printer from landfill
It worked! I saved landfill and the cost of a new printer. This was my last hope, and the promise and support offered by the supplier that they guaranteed the product would work, or refunded, is a bold statement. They even provide instructions on how to return the product once you have used it. My HP Officejet Pro 6960 is now printing all colors, so I will keep the rest of the cleaner (plenty left over). Thank you.

Worked like a charm and saved me so much $$$
My Epson WF-7210 developed a blockage in the print head, and I had tried everything to get it printing again with no luck. I ordered this cleaner as a last ditch effort before I spent way more than I wanted on a new sublimation printer, since there are very few models available currently. The cleaning instructions were quite clear, and it took 2 rounds of cleaning solution to get it completely unblocked, but it is printing beautifully again! I let the solution sit for an hour the first time, but made the possible mistake of replacing the paper towel before it sat for the full hour as I wasn't sure if the liquid would damage the printer if it sat too long. The second time I kept the paper towel underneath and let it soak for an hour and a half and that seemed to do the trick! Best $22 I could have spent!

Ink jet head cleaner
This cleaner has worked to clear plugged up ink jet heads on my printer. The printer wouldn't print right before using this cleaner. I placed a paper towel under the print head and injected this cleaner into each color head to blast out the dried ink plugging up each injector. It took a couple of tries but it eventually worked to restore operation of my printer, without having to replace the head.

As advertised.
Turns out I didn't need to use this but will keep it for future use.

Almost reasonable.
Works as expected. I do think there should be more solution for the money.
