Can I use it to tie a couch on my suv roof rack?

I wouldn't use these straps to tie anything down to anything. See my one star review about how I bought these to tie down a motorcycle and the straps didn't hold at all. The straps became loose with even the slightest pressure (pulling) applied to them. I guess if you want to lose the couch on the trip then you could use them but if you want to keep anything you are tying down DO NOT BUY THESE!

Nice Medium-Duty Tie Down Kit for Utv's, Atv's, and Motorcycles.

I would consider this package to be a good medium duty tie down kit. The webbing seem to be of decent quality. It would have been nice to see double stitching however, the thread used should do the job. The ratchets seem to be decent quality as well. I would not consider them "heavy-duty" but strong enough to hold a UTV or less.It is convenient having a carrying case to keep everything organized.This is my initial assessment of this product and I will further evaluate once we have a chance to put them to use. At the moment, we are very happy with this purchase.

Heavy duty, large hand ratchet, tensile strength is overkill but that’s what you want. Comes with a carry bag to keep them together.
