I am an OTR Truck Driver and have looked for one of these 17mm to 33mm ball mounts that was actually properly sized, made of a good rubberized material and fit my Garmin DezlCam 710, so I could use a RAM mount base and arm to put it on the dash of my truck instead of in my way on the window. This was one of 6 tested and the ONLY ONE to be as advertised and work exactly like it was supposed to in the stock Garmin clip for the unit. Great Job on this and excellent product.

Maybe you we’ll made.
It’s very well made. Super tolerances. Very smooth. Maybe too smooth. Coupled this with my ramlock connector and phone gripper. It’s smooth so on a hit texas day the whole thing just kind sliiiiiiides into some unviewable position. If your really, really crank down the fittings it works well. But I don’t like cranking down the fittings because a faulty bump can mean a broken dashboard mount. Cooler days it works just fine. It is a well made component but the extreme heat is its Achilles heel.

It exists!
You know all of the Garmin 51, 61, 71 etc, GPS units they sell now that include traffic and Wi-Fi and weather and all that, and cost half as much as they did in 2015? Well, the suction cup mounts for those are terrible. Guess what? This thing snaps into the back of the bracket for those GPS units, and then attach to a "B" sized RAM mount! RAM mounts you can get with a really nice suction cup, or even better, screw it onto something. This little adapter, is absolutely wonderful at connecting the two. I wish I had found this thing a long time ago. I've been trying to use CD player adapters that slide into the CD slot and then try to hold the GPS. And I've had suction cups that fall off randomly in the night and scare me to death while I'm driving, etc. Not anymore.. get one of these along with a ram mount and screw it into your dashboard somewhere.
