I bought the HumanCentric double light kit because I needed lighting centered on my face, and I could not get a ring light mounted in a way that provided consistent, evenly lit light. These lights sit easily on the top of my monitor, which is on an adjustable standing desk, and they stay in place no matter how often I move the desk up and down. The biggest benefit for me is that I wear glasses, and with these, I can position the lights so there is no obvious reflection on the lenses. With my old ring light, I always had glare (circle) in my glasses on camera. The light from this kit is even, adjustable, and compact, and it has been a much better solution for regular video calls and Zoom meetings. Overall, very happy with the purchase and the price. They look much cleaner on the monitor than a ring light and work better as described.

I use only occasionally bc it’s too bright for all the time. It does have dimmer but very little purpose the . I use when my face really needs to be lit not always.

I filmed a video because words alone cannot explain how much these lights changed the situation. Let me be clear: harsh fluorescent lighting + a window directly behind you + being a 40-year-old woman = a crime scene. It’s just disrespectful. No one wins. Least of all your face. These lights? Adjustable brightness AND temperature. Suddenly I’m not fighting shadows, glare, or my own reflection looking like it’s under interrogation. I can dial in “warm and human” or “bright and in control” depending on the moment. Took like two minutes to set up and plug in and seems sturdy. Bottom line: I look awake, professional, and back in the game. Negotiations have resumed without people asking if I’m sick all the time. Highly recommend.

This is not a bad setup, but for the price, I am a bit disappointed. The following are some of the things I was most disappointed with: 1.) The front prongs are short, which makes it a bit difficult to maintain a good position of the lights on top of the monitor. Another 1/8 inch would be helpful, and 1/4 inch would be great. 2.) The cords are very short. This goes for both the control and light connecting cords. This caused me to purchase a set of audio cords that were male on one end and female on the other. 3.) I would have hoped the lights to be brighter when on full. They are not bad, but less bright than some other products. Again, it is not a bad product. However, I am disappointed with the product received for the price and the need to purchase extension connectors.

Great little light here. Using on a 13" MacBook Air(2022) and it works well. Strong lighting on all settings. Easy articulation and adjustments for chosen angle with well built fittings. Feels solid and not flimsy at all. Quality build. Rests nicely on top of laptop screen with a clever little cutout to avoid blocking your camera lens. Feels like a well thought out Chicago Designed product. Intuitive light controls make it an overall win for anyone who does video all day. I look 10 years younger(YMMV) This is a well built product and justifies the price IMHO. Pros: Thoughtful design. (Chicago!) Well built. Sleek and sexy profile looks like it was built for Mac. Multiple lighting colors(tones?) and intensities. Simple to use and install. Cons: Silly amount of cable for ANY mobile user. You need MAYBE 12"-16" from light to typical USB C port, but you will have 6 feet to deal with until the day you die. This cord problem, and much of the sales pitch/pricing model, seem to be aimed at enticing the "multi light" user, which is not me. Wishlist: 14" power cable w/inline switch option. Would 100% buy a battery powered/rechargeable "travel/mobile" version of this if it would hold charge for a few hours.

I was so excited to buy these lights to make myself look fantastic in front of the WebCam. However, I find that the lights work fine but they do not hold onto the monitor tightly and keep falling off. Super periodically when I’m on Camara I have to rearrange the lights and secure them. It’s kind of annoying. Actually very annoying. I would recommend going with another brand.

Bought the dual kit, and they sit well on my ultra-widescreen 40" Dell monitor (which is pretty chunky at the back so that's nice!), and provide a lovely even light for video calls. My only gripe is that there's no way to remotely turn these on and off (and even doing that via a wifi-controlled plug or similar is tricky as it's USB-C powered, so you have to put a USB-C adapter onto a smart plug), but hey, the little button on the dongle works well enough, and I knew that going in!

Funktioniert super. Meine Logitech Kamera mag bloß nicht über eine USB-Verteiler mit dabei sein. Die Kamera ging immer an und aus sobald ich Farbe oder Helligkeit geändert habe. Aber im Zeitalter von ausreichend USB Anschlüssen leicht zu beheben

The product is very good, help a lot to improve the light for videos / calls. Super easy to install and use, and with different levels of customizations. Pretty good. I totally recommend.
