Padded Fitover Green & Blue Blocking Sleep Glasses - Red Lens

Wearing these glasses a couple of hours before bed really helps in getting to sleep. The blue & green light produced by many common sources of light (LEDs, flourencent, computer screens, phone screens, etc.) triggers us to stay awake. Think of how nice it it is to see a clear blue sky during the day! And for literally millions of years our ancesters used the sun to control their sleep/wake cycle.

The best when it comes to truly blocking over 99% of blue AND GREEN light (yes, green light is a problem as well) as proven by their testing, which almost no other company does. I already had 2 pairs though and about to boy the third one because the plastic hinges keep breaking despite my handling them very gently. Additionally, they would be he perfect pair if they had the same fit over with rides on top design tha e.g Cocoons have (they unfortunately do not block green light).

These may be pricey, but they fit best over my glasses and the color is very comforting for my eyes, blocking out harsh light. Can’t wait to see improvement in my sleep. I did fall asleep fast last night wearing for the first time.

I wear prescription glasses so I had to have something to fit over my glasses. These do just that. They do a great job of filtering out the blue and green light.

My package arrived. I opened it up and all that was in t I'mhere was a glasses case. There were no blue blocker glasses at all, so I feel as though I've been ripped off.

I originally ordered these to help with blocking out "blue" light to help me sleep better, however it was super sunny out and I needed to take a quick bicycle trip and holy moly, riding around on an ebike with these is like driving around the world in an alien environment. The sky looks different, everything looks different. These are now my daily drivers when I'm out on my bicycle or ebike. (i have one of each) Using these on a monitor is fine, but make sure to turn your computer's "dark mode" off as excessive blacks and dark colors can make differentiating stuff difficult.

In general I find these types of glasses to be overpriced for the quality but beggars can’t be choosers and if they work they work. This model is a step up from the orange safety glasses, it’s a true red and it comes with nose cushions which make falling asleep in them a little more comfortable. I personally find melatonin and these red glasses to be very effective though that depends on the individual.
