my use case here is for a copper colored stripe in a handle. Will it have the copper color on the edges if I cut it?

I returned mine because, even after 36 hours in a salt+vinegar solution for colonization, neither sheet changed color. I am skeptical that they are 100% pure copper. So, I can't say for certain they will serve the purpose you are looking for.

Is it solid copper? Some reviews say it's "plated?"

These are cold rolled, full work hardened copper sheet, very stiff.

Can you cut the sheet into 2X6 inches and ship?

You would need some heavy-duty cutters to snip it into any other sizes.

Is it dead soft, half hard or full hard?

It is very solid. I had a hard time etching on it with hand engraving tools.
