It’s a very good perfume, very mild sandalwood scent but lasts longer. My first impression was negative but now it’s one of my favorites.

Huge bottle for the price i thought i was getting the smaller octoganal bottpes like the ones i already have. This one is huge. This sandalia smells very much like the swiss arabian E. Sandalwood from the 2020 cpo artisan sampler, so if you like that you'll like this. I do. Its not as harsh as plain essental oils, or as chemically as some other fragrance oils ive tried. It smells like the clear glycerin sandalwood soap we used in the 90s. Ive added it to body butters, coconut oil, shampoo, and even put it in the diffuser. Its not super strong and dosnet waft super far but youll smell it in the 3 foot personal space that surrounds you, so its good for office or public where you dont want to overpower everyone elses airspace. It layers well with earthy, spice, and vanila scents well. Its definetly a unisex scent and a household scent. It was packaged in the swiss arabian tamperproof box like the airports sell. Anti spill safety plug was in place and undisturbed. Definetly real swiss arabian product and definetly new.

I was excited to try Swiss Arabian Sandalia but it became the second biggest disappointment I have experienced from the house brand. When I popped the seal there was no loud or immediate scent at all; absolutely no sandalwood, no woody or no scent feel to my noise, nothing in the bottle to suggest a fragrance concentrate. So I sniffed the opening directly and tried hard to find anything noticeable, feel like very faint, cumin type smell. The oil looks and feels thick and viscous like a carrier oil. When I poured a small amount onto my hand, rubbed it in, and repeatedly smelled the application spot the first impressions were blank, no top notes, no heart, no development into a recognizable drydown. Only after a noticeable delay did a tiny, fleeting trace appear that I can only describe as a very faint, cumin like suggestion;. That faint impression is extremely weak, far weaker than any fragrance oil I have used, it never grows, blossoms, or reveals any woody creaminess or resinous depth associated with sandalwood. Projection is essentially zero; I only notice the hint when my nose is pressed to the skin, and longevity is negligible because there is so little scent to begin with. After multiple attempts and reapplications the result was the same, essentially an unscented carrier oil with a ghost of spice now and then, which is not what I expected from a product labeled Sandalia. The bottle and packaging are plain and unremarkable, and because the scent is effectively absent this oil offers no real versatility, it will not serve as a wearable sandalwood on its own or as a reliable base to add woody character in blends. Given the near total lack of scent, zero projection, and negligible longevity it feels poor value for money. If a recognisable sandalwood character, clear development, projection, or lasting life on skin matter to you, this will disappoint.

Luxury is faraway from the truth, but not bad for DIY

Turned out better than expected! I bought one, when it exceeded the expectations, I went ahead and bought a second! As close as u can get to pure sandal oil!
