Bought these a few months ago. I was skeptical because of the style of material but absorption and dissipation is good (they don’t get soggy or wet really but nothing gets past them at all onto the furniture) I am in a tropical climate (80-90 degrees during the day, sunny and humid) and didn’t want drinks sweating all over my new desk. They are very pretty and the colors are vibrant. The “gold” color almost glows. I bought the black white and gold ones. They feel really smooth and there is some weight to them. The cork in the bottom Is great to prevent scratching as well. They have been durable and I’m clumsy. So if you aren’t using them for disc golf you should be golden.

I am really into rocks…agates, jasper, quartz, gemstones…They all fascinate me. Recently I purchased a nice little rug from Lowes for the living room, with a pretty blue stripe in it, and realized that blue was our perfect accent color, the same dark blue as in these coasters, which very much remind me of the inside of rocks. My only complaint is the holder is wobbly and cheap-looking.

Perfect accent for my coastal themed living room. Love the blue colors. They do not stick to the bottom of a wet glass or weep. Nice thickness, they stay in place.
