Can the stock original lay-flat stand still be used with the new covers?

Yes it works the same as the original covers

Would this have an effect on the PS5 warranty?

No because you can put the regular plates back on they just pop right off and right back on no way it could void the warranty i wouldn’t think

Does the ps5 faceplates match the ps5 console exactly?

Yes, it fits perfectly and gives full protection to the PS5 console. The plates are very good quality and because they are matt black nowhere near as dusty as gloss ones and no fingerprints.

Anyone haing issues with the plates falling off easily? I feel any little adjustment or movement causes one of them to slide off.

Mine took a bit of adjusting at 1st.. But then there's a satisfying "click" when they lock in... Just make sure all of the tabs are lined up then it should lock into place securely.
