These are superb trailcams , especially for use in UK gardens, but I would strongly suggest that you buy the version with the inbuilt battery pack rather than one that relies on AA batteries.....in regular use, it will eat them.

I put this out on a tripod and was rewarded with some genuinely exciting footage on the very first night, so it certainly made a good first impression. The video was lovely and clear and I was really pleased with what it captured. I was impressed by the construction too. It feels sturdy and well made, and it was extremely easy to set up — I didn’t even need to look at the instructions. The controls are straightforward and pretty intuitive, although they do feel slightly old-fashioned now that we’re all so used to slick smartphone interfaces. It also comes with a strap for securing it to a nearby tree, which is useful. The still photos weren’t quite as impressive as the video, but I’ve only used the camera once so far. I need to have a proper play with the settings and see what can be improved. One thing worth knowing is that you’ll need to buy an SD card and batteries separately before you can use it. I also can’t comment yet on battery life or long-term durability, as I’ve only just bought it. Overall, though, I’m really pleased with the purchase. For the price, it’s a fun bit of kit, especially if you’re curious about what’s wandering around outside when you’re not looking. Mine produced an exciting result on night one, which was a pretty good start! Would recommend.

Excellent camera. Very strong construction. Very good user instructions. Wi-Fi connection is excellent having 2 antennae sets it apart from competitors. I would recommend this camera without reservation.

Amazing camera for trail/wildlife , very good night mode , super fast trigger , amazing video/picture quality. Altogether 5/5 ⭐ without a doubt. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. The most important no red dot light to scare anything or anyone away, blends in perfectly.

So far so good. I like the quality for the price. Night videos and pictures are not very good, enough to recognize the animal. Day pictures and videos are very decent and I am perfectly happy with that. It's a hoby for me to see what lives around my farm and I get what I want with the quality that is fully satisfying. Build quality is also pretty good. It feels solid, not cheap.

Side motion sensors didn't work and video playback was jerky and in slo-mo. Don't buy this!

It's well made with a simple interface, but the image quality is poor. Whatever its resolution it can't improve on the basic limitations of the lens quality. It's a shame, because it could be a very good device.

Très bonne qualité d’image et de vidéo, menu clair (sur l’application iOS), produit robuste, consommation raisonnable de piles. Portée du Wifi conforme à la description. Petit bémol sur la détection de mouvement qui ne semble pas être si sensible qu’illustré malgré un réglage au max de sensibilité (mais cela évite les fausses alarmes). Également, je n’arrive pas à faire de timelapse avec faible intervalle de temps. Enfin, il faut parfois se connecter plusieurs fois pour voir les séquences enregistrés. Malgré cela, je suis globalement très satisfait.

It's perfect so why the 4 star rating? It's really no big deal BUT some may think it is. I just want to be honest. I bought the camera right around the beginning of WI bow season (September?). I used lithium batteries and they lasted all season. Camera said I had 95% battery life left as of mid December when I pulled the camera. Set up is a BREEZE with many features to choose from. I set it up for video and pictures as I have never used the video function on any trail cam. As for the video, crystal clear. My wife & I couldn't believe the quality, however, I left the microphone on and it makes a crackling sound over the audio. I meant to cut that off but didn't. The photos, crystal clear. It is sensitive so I did get some "blank" photos and videos. I believe I just need to plan out were it's pointed better. I got more actual photos than wind, branches, etc. FYI: The "big name" cameras I've been buying are in the same price range. I have compared my photos to friends that have $200 cameras and it's up there with them IMO. The camera seems very well built for the money. I'll be replacing my cameras with more of these. UPDATE 4/23/26: I bought another GardePro E5S that they ran a discount on. Knowing the quality of the pictures and video I couldn't pass it up. I tested it out and it works flawlessly. After my purchase I was really wishing the first camera I bought wasn't making that crackling noise while taking video, so I contacted their customer support. The next day I got a response. I sent a sample video to them for review. The next day they said the R&D team had reviewed it and determined it wasn't the wind and that a replacement camera was on it's way. Easypesy, THAT'S customer service! I'll be ordering more. This camera and the company are LEGIT!

Let op als je aankiop overweegt: alle nacht fotos van mens en dier zijn inscherp door te lange sluitertijd. De dag en nacht videos zijn ok. De detectie is slecht en je ziet katten of hazen ineens in beeld. De lenzen zijn van zacht plastic en krassen snel bij schoonmaak, ook met zachte fotocamera lens doeken. Wifi is goed en werking met app ook. Batterijduur met 8 AA is goed. Ik stuur onze E8 2.0 retour want valt echt tegen. De marketing is heel goed, maar prestaties echt minder.
