I love "smoke pine tea" and this is a good one. Not as strong as some I've had but very acceptable. Good flavor and I can always steep it twice. Double steeping makes it a better value for the money. The container seals easily and it's attractive on the shelf, too. I love the blend and will probably buy it again.

Love this smoky tea and use instead of acidic coffee.

I love the smell and taste of this Lapsang Souchong! I saw haters saying that it was too smoky for their taste but that's exactly what I was looking for and why I buy Lapsang. Taylors doesn't hold back on the smoke but I never thought it was overpowering and there is still a great complexity of flavor here. If you're finding it too strong, steep it for a shorter duration, this is a good one.

While the description mentions a mildly smoky flavor, there is nothing mild about this tea. It tastes like it was filtered through a campfire. Nice tin and packaging though.

My only quibble is that the resealable tin is big, but it contains a much smaller bag of tea. If I weren't buying on-line sight-unseen, I'd claim "fraudulent deception!" I suspect the advertised weight is accurate, but how much is tea supposed to weigh?

I've been purchasing Taylor's Lapsang Souchong tea for a while now. I typically use a Kuerig to run the water through the tea bag. Especially when making cold teas. I used loose leaf tea for years. There are still times when I enjoy the "routine" of boiling water and steeping my tea. So, I decided to try their loose leaf version as well. It is very good. I enjoy the loose leaf tea because I can steep it longer to get a richer, more full flavor. It is packaged well and is staying fresh inside the metal container. I recommend both loose leaf and tea bag versions of the tea.

I'm going to pile on with the other one star reviewers of Lapsang Souchong tea. You don't smoke meat over pine, and apparently you shouldn't smoke tea over it either. I drank one vessel of this swill, wanting to keep an open mind. For twelve hours I've been burping smoke. You might as well suck on a partially charred, sappy pine log. Disgusting.

I bought the lapsang souchong black tea tin for my boyfriend. It's his favorite tea but was unable to find it anywhere. I figured I would give this brand a try and bonus points for being loose leafed. We steeped it and it was perfect! Will definitely be purchasing again. Highly recommend if you are a black tea lover and love a smokey taste.
