Good product and well made for a dryer vent

I bought this to replace my old, ripped dryer vent. This is made of a different material and looks like it will hold up much better not to rip. My old one ripped very easily. Also the place where it connects 2 parts is very strongly made, so will not come apart. I also liked that the screw that attaches the ring to the dryer is a Philips. I know it may seem silly, but I struggled with the flat screw and this was easier to install. Hope to enjoy for many years to come

I was impressed with the design and strength of this vent hose. It was so strong and firm I was worried that I wouldn't be able to fit it to the oval wall connector. I watched a couple of videos on YouTube that showed the proper way of fitting round hose to oval connectors and it fit perfectly to the oval connector. It was the perfect size (I was in the process of sending it back because I thought it was to small). My first attempt to install it prior to watching the video was uncessful, I thought it was too small. I'm glad I watched the videos because I really liked the quality of build of these hoses. I think that is why I searched to see if I was doing it correctly. Like a previous poster I would give this 6 stars if I could. I installed this on a 24" stacked washer dryer that was going into a laundry closet. I cut the hose to fit so that it would compress perfectly in the space once washer dryer were pushed back into position. You don't have to worry about crushing this hose because of it's strong design but yet it's very flexible. I used this in our basement for a new in-law suite we built for our mother-in-law moving in. We added a full bathroom and a laundry closet to the basement. I'll be ordering another hose to replace the hose on our full size dryer upstairs, I was planning on cleaning this dryer exhaust and will do it at that time.

Well this product is definitely well built! As other reviews have hinted, I, too, had a difficult time installing it over the standard 4" pipe for both the dryer exhaust and wall vent. That said, I really wrestled with it to make it fit and it did not break apart.

Very useful to have when traveling. Comfortable too! Soon as I put it on, Zzzzzzzzzzz!
