Round Cable Gland | Marine Grade Waterproof Cable Seal

Probably the best solution for a water tight deck seal. A little bigger than other gland styles, but pretty easy to fit and install, and works great. I used one for a propane hose as well as for wires, and so far they’re working perfectly.

This worked great, the install was easy, we did not use the supplied screws, we used nuts and bolts because we had access and do 4 wheel the vehicles we put these on. The quality is good and hole cutting tubes made it easy to cut the right size hole for the cable. I used this to add a GMRS antenna to my vehicles roof rack.

This cable seal is a ten-star design in my book. I think you can’t beat the design and weather tight results. It might look a little bulky but there isn’t any other design that beats this.

Have not installed it but I think it will work well to run two cables to my Garmin EchoMap UHD2 93sv

I was looking for a little cable gland to allow me to run cabling through the roof of my truck for my antenna. This one worked out perfect!

This works. I believe it is hard to use. You need to put the hole in the rubber plug and may not be easy to do. It is about an inch thick. I ended up coating the whole thing in a sealer just to be sure it won't leek.

Makes the console top look so neat and clean! I had six, count them, SIX cables I needed to bring up through the top of the boat console to attach to the Garmin Echomap and VHF radio. The largest cable was .26" and the rest were in the .19-.23" diameter range. The network cable had a very large .97" plug so this gland over the smaller one was it. I love that it's pretty low profile. Unlike others, this is my second one where I had no issues cutting holes in the rubber. Some extra soapy water and those brass tubes in a drill do the trick. I used a little o-ring lube to help the cables slide into the cut slots and a little around the rubber gland to help it slide into the opening. It went together amazingly well and as I said, looks great. Also I made sure I put the cables in the gland in order of how they plug in so the cables weren't overlapping. After I bought my first one of these (the rectangular one) for the bow I KNEW I would find an excuse to buy another for the console. This looks like it will last for years!. Value for money, check. Ease of use, check.

These simply do not last. I had mine installed for for less than a year. They are made from the wrong kind of plastic for outdoor use. The grey outer cover is cracking and now I’m worried it’s going to leak. The worst part is the wire is inaccessible and now it’s going to be a total nightmare to replace. Stick with a brand like BlueSea. Regretting buying this now.

Good quality but pricey for what it is. That said, when using for its intended purpose it’s not something you want to skimp on. A less expensive model for cable glanding on less critical applications like automotive or trailer wiring would be nice.
