Sweet, with a caramel overtone, and mixes easily
I got it mainly to mix with cocoa in the morning, instead of coffee. Great taste, nutritious, and mixes easily. A great natural sweetness, much sweeter than the light regular store malt, and with caramel overtones, yet that malt flavor too. This is the malt used to make dark beers, but useful for many things. I love it.

Great in coffee, chocolate, carob
I love the flavor of malt added to coffee, with some cocoa powder, coconut milk and Agave syrup. I think the darker malt has more flavor. Just beware that malt soaks up moisture from the air very quickly, so once I cut open the package, I pour immediately into glass jars with tight fitting lids to keep moisture out, or at least tape it tightly with packing tape. Otherwise it will harden into a big lump. Also good with carob in soy milk or banana smoothies.

Not good for baking malt bread
I bought this for making homemade bread with malt, but it turned out to be different from what I needed. weak taste, color and aroma

Good basis for delicious brew
Worked very well as a base for a unique beer with honey, self-made specialty grains, lots of hop. One bag was enough for a strong 5 gallon brew.
