This is a great little Zwave switch. The only hard part was trying to get my IQ4 Security panel to connect to it with the camera. I actually had to punch in the 40 numbers on the side of the box which was super easy after that was complete. It connected right away and the range is amazing. I have this sitting outside my back yard and is connected to my fountain so that i can turn on the switch with my phone and enjoy my fountain running. I will definitely buy more of these switches for around the house!!!

I struggled from day one with this. I couldn't even get it to connect it to my Z-Wave network without resetting it to factory more than half a dozen times. Even once connected it would not show up properly with all available options and could not control it.Once finally working, I was able to use it a couple times before it fell back off the Z-Wave network and to this point I have yet to be able to get it to connect back to the Z-Wave network at all. It is now useless. Worked for about 2 hours

I've been trying different smart plugs with my Abode security system that has a built in Zigbee/ZWave gateway and so far this indoor Zwave plug has been very reliable. It responds quickly, returns it's on/off status, and has not had any dropped connections.

The plug was for my Xmas tree lights. It was easy to set up and makes life so much easier when scheduling the plug on a timer. No I don’t have to craw under a tree to plug it in. I will be purchasing more for all my lights

I’ve been using this for five months, and it has done its job. Initial pairing took a couple tries, but that seems to have been the norm with other Z-Wave devices on my Smart Things hub.

Bought 3 of these to control desk fans. One failed in two weeks. One has been running for 6+ months. The 3rd is a unused spare. Other reviews indicating this may be a problem and they were right.

I've been using this for a few weeks since purchase, with a couple of strings of LED holiday lights (a very small power load). I have also tested it with a three-speed box fan (inductive load), and it works without a problem.It paired with Homeseer, but during my attempts at Z-Wave optimization, I found that it's Z-Wave radio performance is the worst of any Z-Wave Plus device I've used. It can barely connect to two neighbor devices. I suspect this is is either caused by too-short antennas or internal interference or poor voltage regulation.
