If restoring a boat I want to add glitter…will it still dry to a smooth surface and/or will it lower life expectancy of the product?

Hello and great question. When repairing GelCoat and glitter you will apply a final coat of MarineCoat One Clear GelCoat after applying the glitter so it will be a smooth long Lasting repair.

Can this be sprayed with spray gun? thinking in refinish bathroom fiberglass tub

Yes, it takes a special cup gun with a large port to spray. There is some videos on utube. I bought one to do my boat. It will leave the surface an orange peel type Finnish that will need to be sanded , buffed to polished Finnish if that's what you are lookin for.

I'm trying to mix small batches 1-2 ounces at a time... how many drops of catalyst per ounce of gel coat?

If you are going for 1.7 to 2% ratio, I use small dixie and I weigh it out. If you are spraying patches you will also need to figure in a wax additive like patchaid. Weigh cup, pour in paint, take that - minus cup weight, + plus 2% and that is your hardener weight.
