These are the best boots that I've ever had. I have decided to write this review now as they have just started to fall apart and become un waterproof after nearly 3 years of use and they have really been used! Not only are they super comfy and supportive but I have been amazed at how long they have been waterproof for. I have now purchased another pair. Amazing boots for a fantastic price. Highly recommend.

The NORTIV 8 Women's Hiking Boots I ordered are just great for my post operative ( hip replacements) getting-back-in-to trekking training before I embark on the French Camino next year. They are super comfortable and support my feet and ankles well. They are rain waterproof but I did feel a bit damp when I landed unexpectedly in a puddle. But I suspect the water came in over the top and not through the fabric of the boot. Very pleased - great VFM too!

Lovely looking hiking/walking boots. Have had some compliments on how they look (although I didn’t purchase for the intention of their appearance). Desperately needed to invest in some decent shoes to go hiking and long walks on, no matter the weather! And these have definitely being helping so far. I no longer needed to worry about slipping up in the wet mud when walking as they grip the floor well enough. Easy to put on, advice would be to wear with long socks (not ankle socks) to avoid any rubbing for the first time wearing. I purchased half a size larger then what I needed, making sure to consider any socks/laying if I needed to with the added room. Otherwise for information these do wear to size but I think It’s always wise to go slightly larger if your wearing for colder weather. Nice and hard wearing , waterproof so no water gets in them! Can tell these will last me years which is exactly what I wanted.

Bought these for a trip to Iceland, my first ever pair of hiking boots. At first I thought that they hurt my ankles (then I realised I had jeans with seams over my ankle bone, as soon as I rolled my jeans up a bit, and bought decent hiking socks - problem solved). They were strudy and comfortable - even though I was wearing them on 15 hour trips some days. I was worried about the water proofing, and I haven't really worn them out in heavy rain, but I was out in blizzards, -12 degrees and about 1.5ft of snow - and my feet were kept dry. All in all a fantastic buy for the price!

I find these shoes comfy but narrow so when wearing can press one of the metal eyelets into the side of my left foot which I can feel long after taking them off. They are cushioned and make my feet quite hot after a while. nice colour tones, good quality laces. You do have to undo quite a bit to get them off. They are certainly not the worst boots I've had but they aren't the best either. I guess thats the problem when they were purchased as a gift for me and you don't get to try them on and wear them in. Not had wet feet though so thats good! They take a while to get the soles bendy as the first few outings you do feel like you're wearing clogs and very flat footed. I nearly sent back but they have improved.

Great quality, waterproof,easy to walk in ,helped me to hike in mount Kenya with great comfort ! Highly recommended.Great price for the amazing value.Thank you so much to the people who produce them and the people who distribute them :)

Edit: now they've been used in the field so to speak, they're uncomfortable and are certainly not waterproof. My partner suffered wet feet, she has arthritis in one foot and these did her no good whatsoever, so I've returned them and adjusted to 1 star from 5 I purchased these for my partner and she loves them, she says they're so comfortable on her feet. Alas we haven't been out to try them yet but she tried them on in the house and didn't take them off for an hour or so, they were that comfortable lol She loves the colour and the fact that the manufacturer supplies a spare set of laces the same as what's fitted already, is a brilliant touch too!

allora le ho prese meno di un mese fa, ma le uso praticamente ogni giorno quando esco con il cane 1 BELLE E COMODE 2 Sono davvero impermeabili 3 fantastiche per andare in montagna o sentieri “difficili” 4 sono caldissime, anche quando si bagnano dopo un po’ iniziano a diventare più calde di prima (quindi ottime in inverno) 5estetica da paura 6 sulla resistenza vi aggiornerò quando si romperanno per ora sono ancora perfette 7 aiutano almeno per me nella camminata o in salite “brutte”

Yo soy biólogo, por lo que el trabajo de campo y la ropa de campo me resultan familiares. La verdad es que yo personalmente solo le confío mis pies a botas de la marca Merrell, y esto ha sido así durante al menos 10 años. Mi esposa, en cambio, es nutrióloga, y nunca fue mucho de salir al campo hasta que me conoció. El primer paso fue comprarle unas buenas botas para que me pudiera acompañar, pero comprarle unas botas demasiado caras hubiera sido mucho para ella. Entonces decidí comprarle estas, que son más baratas, pero tienen buenas revisiones. He de decir que estoy impresionado con su calidad y desempeño, hacen todo lo que se espera de unas buenas botas de hiking. Su agarre en distintos tipos de suelo es muy bueno, no tienen puntos incómodos, son ligeras, dan buena estabilidad, no se sienten las rocas, buen soporte de tobillo y arco, son adecuadamente impermeables, se les nota buena calidad y materiales, por lo que parece que durarán. Lo único que no he podido comprobar es qué tan transpirables son, pues para esto tendría que ponermelas yo, lo cual es imposible debido a la talla. Y mi señora no entiende realmente el concepto de transpirabilidad pues suda poco y no ha podido vivirlo, entonces no hay forma de obtener su relatoría. Supongo que la única forma de saberlo es comprar unas para mí jaja. Ya probaré para experimentarlas en carne propia, y tal vez no reemplacen a mis Merrell queridas, pero puede ser que nortiv8 se vuelva una opción para mí.

Sehr schön und sehr bequem. Es gibt sicher keine Blasen an den Füßen. Macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck.

These Boots Are great, I have very wide feet for a lady and these fit nicely even with my higher volume insoles put in them, although the ones that come with the boots are quite comfortable in and of themselves. The lugs on the bottom are quite aggressive and grippy, although I haven't tested them on shale yet. These even came with an additional set of laces which is nice, my only concern with them is the topmost lace catcher thingy, sorry I don't know what the correct term for that little metal toggle as I wonder if it will actually hold the laces will during aggressive use but so far they performed much better than my $200 boots they are replacing, which had cheap plastic doohickeys at the top that sheared off after only half a season of use
