Pi Zero Aluminum Case Kit with Pin Header, OTG Hub, HDMI Adapter, On/Off Switch for Pi Zero 2

This case kit fits the Pi Zero 2W +H perfectly — no issues with alignment or installation. The cooling setup is surprisingly effective for such a small form factor, and I haven’t had any thermal problems during use. The kit also came with everything I needed to get started, which made the setup process super simple. I got this case for my Pi Zero 2W that acts as a Pihole on my local network. It is a really nice case. The Pi Zero 2W fits really well, though I do not have the GPIO pins soldered to mine since I do not need them for my use case. The case came with a few extra thermal pads which was a nice touch. The built-in cooling function works well. It keeps my Pi Zero's SOC in the mid 30's - 40's most of the time. Finally, it was really easy to put together. Just four screws and you're good to go. I did notice the aluminum case does cut down on the Wi-Fi signal reception. I have always kept mine next to the router, so it hasn't been an issue for me. I would recommend this case for anyone looking for a durable case with built-in cooling.

Great product! Heatsink is more than adequate, and the cables/adapters etc are an excellent value add. It also does not increase the flat surface profile of the pi and only increases height by a few mm. It's small and lightweight enough that I have it just doublesided taped under my desk.

Nice looking case, works well with the Pi Zero 2 W. The included USB hub is handy. My only complaint is the aluminum kills the WiFi signal; definitely have this very close to the AP/Router. A cut-out or something to allow the signal to get to the right part of the board would be nice... otherwise it allows for a fanless, cool Pi project.

I bought this because I wanted a durable case for my Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W. It fits perfectly! Other reviewers must have been putting it together wrong or soldering headers on upside down or something. I had absolutely no problems. Perfect clearance for the headers. It was very easy to assemble. Looks great! Even has a solid feel. You can tell it’s metal. I would recommend this kit for your project, but not if you want to use a hat. The case is meant to dissipate heat and the opening on top would attract heat toward any hat used directly with the Pi. Either use a silicone spacer or just attach with a cable. I’m using mine headless as a media server anyway. Oh, and the accessories are just a bonus. I forgot that it comes with a hub until it arrived! Useful for attaching extra peripherals.

Easy to install and it came with an OTG hub which is great, and I didn't realize that it has a power on/off cable which was a nice bonus. I'll probably buy a few more cases and Pi Zero 2 Ws for other projects.

Good case and kit. Comes with all the bits and bobs you need to make it happen. All the tools are provided. Bought it mainly as a protection tool but it pulls double duty as a heat sink. The pre soldered headers stick up about a mm proud of the top surface. Could probably still use them fine. I didn’t try anything. The accessories that come with it are the real bargain. Something you would have to buy anyway if you don’t have them.

Works good. installed inside the base of my Ender3 v3se 3d printer for Octoprint. The switch is used on a different Pi and works great.

Great case for a Pi Zero, easy to assemble, and the price is great! Case allows access to the PIN Header for projects and experimentation.

Purchased it to replace a 3D printed case on my Pi Zero 2w which is used as an OctoPi server, it tends to get really hot after extended multi-day prints and the 3D printed case wasn't helping, and was starting to warp a bit under the constant heat. The aluminum one in this kit helps pull the heat away from the pi's processors so they can continue to run at peak efficiency and my prints keep coming out smoothly. Took a couple tried to get this item, first one ended up in limbo and I had to cancel/refund it after a few weeks. I took a chance and reordered it, and I'm glad I did, arrived in record time the second try, item fit onto my pi zero 2 like a glove, the usb hub worked without a hitch (though it's build quality is a little cheap), and the power switch works, haven't tried the hdmi adaptor yet and the header pins are a nice bonus though I'm not needing them at this time. Can't beat it for twice the price, though I did have to deduct a star for the shipping issues on the first order, absolutely will purchase again for my other PI's.

Complete starter kit but for a power supply. Great value for the items received. Much more $$ if I had to buy all parts individually.
