Looking forward to using this grill a lot! Assembled it today and ran the grill on high to season grates and remove that initial smell before I use it tomorrow. My initial impressions as one who has been a griller, both gas and charcoal, for decades. First, it was pretty easy to assemble. Compared to some grills, the hardware was well marked and the instructions quite thorough with great pictorials. Just take a bit of time and you will be fine. Second, as shipped the box is heavy. Get it inside with help if need be. I unboxed on a side porch close to where I will use it. Third, one you unbox it, the pieces, even the fire box, are very manageable.donet try to lift it out of the box. Deconstruct the box and remote all of the pieces. Fourth, all you need is a hood Philips head screw driver and a small wrench. And a needle nose pliers to keep 5he axel from turning while you tighten the wheel nuts. Fifth, I am used to an igniter for each burner. This has one but if you follow the instructions, it light all three burners well. The flame pattern is excellent. I will update after I use it a while,p. The temperature gage is a nice and easily readable size. A small but nice design element are thermal insulating washers to prevent the handle from getting hot at the higher temp settings. It’s is sturdy and stable. For the price point it is well designed. Update….After a bout a year, I still love this grill.

Got this for my husband for Father’s Day. Great size for a small patio! Their customer support is also really great if you have any problems. One of the pieces broke and we quickly got a replacement piece. It’s has a nice cooking surface and my husband was able to grill us steaks in no time!

Decent, easy to assemble, easy to light. I have used it to cook for 4 people, plenty of space. Would recommend getting a grill cover with it. The only thing that would make it better is a gage for the propane tank.

Since I only grill once every couple of months, I was hoping to get something I didn't have to invest a lot in. Big mistake . . . Problem is, buying things like this on line is sight unseen. This will be one of my worst of the worst reviews. If I could have seen this in person first, I would have spent about 10 seconds looking at it then walked away. Super low quality. China, you continue to give yourselves a bad product reputation when you allow this kind of stuff to leave you country. It would be better to charge more, and give better quality for this factor alone. The hood, a most important item, is a super low quality, thin, one layer, stainless steel. The hinge points are bent and angled in so the sharp edges of the metal rubs on the bottom half. Received grill dented in several places. I don't think it was shipping damage as it is fairly well packed, so to me it looked like it had to be put in the box dented and distorted. For instance; the hood would not rest even on the frame, even after trying to reset the hinge pins. The unfinished metal edges of the top hood are almost knife edge sharp, almost cut my self. The drip pan was totally bent out of shape. This was where I decided to send it back. The drip pan is riveted on and would have to be drilled out to replace it. No way I will do this in light of the low quality of the thing in the first place. What is really frustrating is that after all the work I did to try and make this work, I will have to now take apart and repack it. Next time folks, trust me on this one; bite the bullet like I'm going to do, and buy a Weber. Go down to Lowe's or Home Depot and first take a look at some of the brand name's quality before you buy so at least you know what you're getting into.

So, about this grill... Initially, I was annoyed with it because of the assembly. The assembly instructions were just pictures without words, so many times I had that "what am I looking at" feeling. I know it's a crazy thought, but I just think instructions should have actual written words. Another thing about the assembly. The instruction manual uses a lettering system to label the parts, but the parts themselves were not labeled. You know how normally when you have something big that needs assembly (like a desk or a table) the parts have stickers with letters on them so you know what's what. These parts had no stickers, so again, I had that "what am I looking at" feeling. One final thing about the assembly. Because of the two things mentioned above, you may have to backtrack from time to time to get things right. This means you'll have to loosen screws, make adjustments, then fasten the screws again. This will be problematic because the materials are pretty weak. I mean, the parts of the grill and the screws are made of weak and flimsy materials, so you have to be careful with them. I just want to warn you to be careful if you're planning to use power tools during the assembly. You can bore out the screws pretty easily. I spent a large quantity of time just removing stripped screws. All that said, I did successfully get the grill assembled! It's a fine grill. I don't need any special bells and whistles, and this grill has none. Once you get it assembled, the actual cooking was a joy. Be warned, this thing gets real hot real fast. It got to 800 degrees (Fahrenheit) in about 5 minutes. So just consider that when you're grilling. Also, the cleaning was pretty easy. You just have to get through the assembly first.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of this grill, for how inexpensive it is compared to many others. The cooking grates, while not hefty, are still solid, heat well and easy to keep clean.

It wasn't very easy to put together. And rusted right away. I'm very unhappy 🙁
