Dog Muzzle with Adjustable Metal Buckle, Sharp, Large

These run large, but they work well and are adorable on my white dogs! We have several types of muzzles, and these are the best we found.

I loved this and gave as a gift. However, they are having difficulty in keeping it on their dog. Hard to figure correct size.

Received the muzzle today. A short strap with a buckle is included with no idea what to do with it so I took it off. I too the dog to the dog park to try it for the first time and the muzzle came right off. She never even got out of the SUV and it was off her head. I am guessing the short strap is used in some way to keep that from happening but I didn't figure it out when test fitting at home. After the muzzle came right off of her, I tried to find the strap to figure out how to use it and between my house, the pet store, and the dog park, it is lost. Frankly, I am a smart guy, I have worked with a variety of leashes and collars over the years, never a muzzle, but this thing was not intuitive what to do with that strap and now it is lost and I never will know. The one picture shows the short strap laying loose next to the muzzle...that gives you a really good clue how to use it....NOT. Not one picture I could see actually showed that strap in use. I even checked a popular video source for help and nothing there. People had the muzzles on, but none showing them putting it on.

I know I only gave it 3 stars - its due to the straps the actual muzzle part I'd give a 10 stars if they were there. The straps can come undone if you have a smart dog. Also the strap on the top of the head is a little short so the actual top part of the muzzle was really close to the eyes even though it never touched them. My dog is a pit but she could wear it all day long and still be comfortable. The wire cage muzzle I had for her before, after swimming in the pond, she leather made a sore on top of her nose and the size of her nose/muzzle and this particular muzzle allowed those 2 areas heal. I'm going to miss this muzzle though.

I have a red/purple nose pit and a blue nose pocket pit. My pocket pit has a really wide snout and it fits perfectly on both dogs. Ever sense I got one fixed they been fighting . they tried fighting one time sense they had these muzzles on and they realized they couldn't get at each other and they been fine sense. These muzzles are very durable. The straps are very strong I did have to add one hole on one of them but all together its totally worth the money you pay for it.

First of all this muzzle is really cute and funny , I got this for my Great Dane to wear at night so he wouldn’t be able to lick his foot . The only problem I have with it is it comes loose and falls off . Other than that this muzzle would be perfect .

Loved the concept of it but the materials just gave out on me real quick. I have a PIT/LAB that can be very aggressive towards other dogs and I wanted this as a worst case scenario that he comes off the leash. He seemed very comfortable in it but, was only able to use it 4 times before the stitching on the straps came apart and the metal clip on the bottom of the mask broke. Maybe it was because I washed it (water only) due to my dog drooling in it. Only wanted this design because it looked a lot friendlier then the rest but seems like its just not up to par.

Great product bought it to make the neighbors less scared of my german shepards when let outside . I think it has the opposite effect though but won't be accused of my dogs biting them that's for sure just looking mean.
