Quest Nutrition Protein Chips, Cheddar & Sour Cream, High Protein, Low Carb, 1.1 Ounce (Pack of 12)

These Quest Nutrition chips are a great alternative to potato chips that are higher in sugar and carbs. I often miss having potato chips and these provide an great snack while satisfying my dietary needs. I can grab and go with these individually wrapped bags. I love the cheddar and sour cream flavors as well as the other flavors these Quest chips.

This is one of my favorite chip flavors in general, and as usual, the flavor is solid and comes through well. The texture is not exactly like a potato chip (between a tortilla and potato?) but it is light and crunchy. They're not really strong enough for most dips. As a T2 diabetic, I really appreciate the carb count (but I hate "net carbs" which is marketing nonsense. Always go by total carbs). I do wish these weren't so expensive, but they're a much healthier snack option for diabetics, add a nice little boost of protein, and I will keep buying them (and looking for sales!).

The Cheddar & Sour Cream Quest chips have a great flavor and only 4 net carbs. This is probably my favorite flavor after Ranch.

Consistency is excellent, mouth feel, just like potato chips without all the starch!

3 stars because they came in good condition and I love just about every other Quest chip flavor, except for these. If youre wanting a better macro baked lays cheddar n sour cream chip, its not these. It tastes too much like the sour cream n onion Quest chips but with a slight hint of rank cheese. I prefer the heavy cheese flavor with a hint of sour cream. They are not the same, and I will not be repurchasing. Im leaving this review for anyone else wanting that Baked Lays flavor, just portion out the real thing.
