It works and easy to install. Just what I needed.

Works as advertised. No issues charging or with phone falling out. Previous purchase (a brand no longer offered on Amazon) lasted 7 year, of constant use, before on side failed to open and close. Hopefully this one will be as reliable and last as long.

Honestly, I think the product description should make it clearer that it connects to any 17mm ball mount—that’s a huge selling point and something buyers should know. For context, I previously bought a very expensive phone holder that only lasted a year or two before failing. This one costs about a third of the price and feels just as solid in terms of build quality. I have a 20mm arm in my Bronco, so I used a 20mm-to-17mm ball adapter, and it fit perfectly with the back of this charger. The setup worked so well in my Bronco that I immediately bought a second one to have ready for passengers. At this price point, with this level of quality and compatibility, it’s a fantastic buy.

This is my second time purchasing this product. My original one lasted about two years before one of the arms broke, snd wouldn’t move, so I recently replaced it with the newer model. Overall, it still works well, but I actually prefer the vent-mount clip from the older version - it was sturdier and held my iPhone more securely. (the new versions tightened at the max, my iPhone still quickly falls forward on my Kia Telluride air vent. I ended up swapping the old mounting clip onto the new one, and now it works perfectly. If I hadn’t had the original clip, I likely would have returned the new version.

This MOKPR Wireless Car Charger is not a convenience; it's a liability. Charging Speed is a LIE: It charges so slowly that if you dare to run Waze or Google Maps (the reason you need a car charger!), your phone's battery percentage will either stagnate or actually drop. I have tried multiple QC 3.0 adapters as suggested—it makes no difference. It consistently fails to deliver enough power to keep up with basic GPS use. It is functionally worse than a 5W standard charger. Overheating Hazard: The absolute worst offense is the extreme heat generation. After 30 minutes of attempting to charge with my navigation running, my phone was torching hot. The charger itself was scorching to the touch. This kind of heat is dangerous for the phone's long-term battery health and is a potential safety hazard in the car. Terrible Mount Stability: The vent mount is cheap and ineffective. It relies on a weak ball joint that constantly loosens, causing the phone to droop, wobble, and sag with every turn and bump. The charger itself worked very well was a good quality piece of kit, easy to install and held securely to the air vent, after over a year of owning the charger the vent clip broke but the Star Map customer service was second to none that I have ever dealt with, they quickly helped with the issue without any fuss and resolved the problem very professionally, I would definately buy from them again in the future.

Good product and the second I’ve purchased in recent months, as I was impressed with the one I bought for my wife’s car. However both have started to not open automatically to clamp and hold the phone when you start the engine. They both now need a helping hand to open up, hence 4 out of 5 stars. The latest purchase is only 1 month old. Otherwise a good solid phone holder which clamps well onto car air vents and charges phones well even with their cases on. Update 15th Jan 26: Contacted seller as the clamping arms stopped completely. Good communication from them, but they sent a different MOKPR replacement (the magnetic circular holder) so that we wouldn’t experience the same problem. Sadly my iPhone 16e just slid off this, as the magnetic hold is too weak. On reading the instructions, it advertises using a MagSafe phone case to work best with this product. So whilst we applaud the seller for their communication and attempt to resolve our issue, it just comes at more expensive for us. We hope our experience helps you consider the purchase of either product.

This is just what I needed, fits well in my van, it comes as the standard cable so if you want the newer Samsung where it's both the same at either ends this isn't it, it charges fast, silent, I've had it for a while now and no complaints.
