This modular (mole compatible) deluxe strap pad retrofits Hazard 4(R) shoulder bags or any shoulder strap that is not padded enough or needs the ability to attach modular pouches to it. This product features very generous foam padding, tough Cardura(R) fabric top, hook-and-loop fastener-opening mounting straps that are military mole-spaced, and a high quality 3-D air-circulating aerospace material on the under-side for heat/sweat management. Review: Excellent shoulder pad and more - I travel hard, and when I do, I expect my travel gear to keep up. I'm in sales. I start my day by reciting Alec Boldwin's speech as I brew morning coffee. So when my TravelPro's soft cushion shoulder strap pad tore itself to pieces after just a year and a half of use, I knew I had to get something tougher. I needed a shoulder pad that would project my masculinity and toughness, yet keep me moving around without tearing up expensive italian suits. A pad that would handle my bony shoulders and the abuse of the underseat torture compartments as the bag transitions with me from flight to flight. A pad that would strap on anything I would need to close a sale - a multitool, spare ammo, ether, duct tape - anything! And so this is how I found Hazard 4 shoulder pad. The moment I saw it, I knew this is what I was looking for. One-click order, and here it is just a day later. I put it on the bag and immediately got a confidence boost of +20. I mean, just look at those utilitarian straps and a soft underside to keep me comfortable as I lag a full laptop bag around! But the best was yet to come. The next morning as I woke up for an early flight and was making coffee, I heard a voice coming from behind me: "Put that coffee down. Coffee is for closers." The pad was talking to me! It had just the right words to say, too "put your coffee in the mug and strap it onto me, or you'll be late" - and so I listend to the sage advice and headed for the airport. At the TSA checkpoint I stared the TSA agent down in the sockets of his sould, ripped off the driver's license from the strapped on card holder and made a secret handshake. "Carry on, sir" - and on I went without any hassle. My plane arrived into Chicago late. I only had 6 minutes from farthest gate to farthest gate. "You can do it" - said the pad - and so I slung my bag onto my shoulder and ran like the wind. I've never been as comfortable running with a laptop bag! Made it in time and was about to board the next plane with a minute to spare when the pad said: "get down and give me twenty!" That's how tough it is. I'm now a top sales person of the year and a runner of the year at ORD. What more could you ask for? Buy this pad, and you won't regret it. Review: Fits and works great - Bought this shoulder strap pad for my Helikon-Tex Bushcraft satchel since it doesn’t come with one. It was easy to install and fits nicely without the pad shifting while using it. The color is a close match and does blends well with my bag. I just used it for a day event and had about 8 lbs of stuff I was carrying around. The padding was great and I felt no discomfort from carrying the satchel around for about 5 hours. It was a very hot and muggy day and so far the padding held up nicely with no discoloration and no seams came undone. The material seems to be very durable and there’s no signs of sloppy craftsmanship. Having the extra padding and additional stability it gives to my satchel strap is a win win for me. It performed as advertised and being under $15 is very reasonable. If this one eventually falls apart, I won’t hesitate to order another one as long as the price is right.

Good, not great
The padding is adequate for at least ten pounds of weight and the overall construction is well done and as described. The mesh on the padding seems a little rough to the fingers, but seems fine on the shoulders and it does breathe. However, the edges are finished with coarse material that can be irritating to bare skin with movement unless you can adjust the straps so that they don't shift at all when on. The velcro straps work well in keeping the pad on the strap, but not well enough to prevent the pad from sliding up/down at all. Not an issue once you get it settled on your shoulder, but it is when putting it on or shifting the straps once on. Still, it does the job and should last a long time. Btw, what color is "Coyote"? A greenish khaki, not dark khaki like it appears on my screen (not important to me; just fyi).

Reduced Pain
I use these pads on the straps of my rucking backpack and I find them to be extremely comfortable and a very nice upgrade. I currently ruck with roughly 20 to 25 pounds in my backpack and after adding these pads, I have noticed less shoulder pain and fatigue while on my rucks. They have the perfect amount of padding for the weight I carry and I'm even considering picking up a few more for other bags I own. I also love the molle attachments as it has allowed me to add a pouch to carry deterrent spray in an easy to reach way. Overall, I would say that these straps are high quality at a good value for the money!

Excellent! Remember to order two.
I had found the perfect camera bag (Tenba Axis V2) but the straps that it comes with are uncomfortable. So I ordered two of these straps (they don’t come in a pair) and they fit securely and provide an excellent fit. These are great for those bags that dig into your shoulders when wearing a tshirt or tank. They make the bag look a bit more “tactical” but I appreciate having the new Molle attachments on the straps now for carrying more things. So far I find that these straps stay secure and do not come undone or need any adjusting after wearing, they seem to be made well and I don’t foresee any wear and tear issues happening but will update if anything happens.

Great shoulder pads, for slings, packs, or anything!
I bought these to try and squeeze a little more comfort out of my "Frankensteinish" Survival pack. The straps on it were Swedish military from about 30 years ago, so they really weren't the most padded straps out there. I had thought about changing the straps out for some modern military straps, but connecting those to the pack (and finding ones that fit me), just seemed like more trouble than it was worth. I had even considered just getting an ILBE Rucksack, but I like my mixed up pack and have quite a bit of work in getting it together, so upgrading it was the better choice. I found these pads after some searching and decided to give them a shot. Well, I'm impressed. They are very well made and comfortable. They fit great and seem to be very well made. For the price, I could have bought a set of Molle II straps, but for my build, I just don't think I could have used those. The only thing I would do differently, would have been to try and hunt down a set of these in OD green. Keep in mind, these sell separately, so if you are putting them on a pack, buy two.

Works Perfectly!
I read some reviews where it seems like the wrong item was received, but I got what was pictured. I have a small messenger bag without a strap pad that I use for photography gear, and this pad works perfectly. It holds the strap snuggly so that it does not twist or reposition itself. The strap stays put. The pad is also long enough to extend across my shoulder fully. The strap does not cut into my shoulder or back at all. Without a pad, the strap on my camera kit would fairly quickly start to cause pain in my shoulder/neck region. That problem is gone with this pad. It sounds like there are a lot of poor quality pads out there for sale, but I'm glad I took the chance and ordered this one. It appears substantial and I expect a long service life! Recommended!

Your Shoulders Best Friend!
Here is what I love about this strap and why I am going to buy another. I will also cover one concern. + Cushion is amazing. I have a Tomtoc Carryon 28L bag and this strap makes it feel like it is lighter than it is. + I can have this on my shoulders all day due to the amazing padding. + The cubic pad system makes it so that there is enough room between my shoulds and the bag so all the weight is being handled by the thick pad giving my shoulders a well-deserved break. + It fits the whole strap of my TomToc Backpad and was truly a perfect size. - Concerns about this pad is that it might not fit your strap. Make sure to see the measurements before purchasing. In my case, it was a match made in Heaven. I recommend this product and will purchase it again! Thanks for taking the time to read this review and I hope it helped.

My go-to padded shoulder strap, either as a single item or with it's 2" shoulder strap. Quality.
