Very helpful with tracking

This honestly may have been the one thing that held my sanity together in those early newborn / postpartum days. I admit I did not use it to its full capability, but I did track her diapers and feeds. I was so worried she wasn’t eating enough but as I tracked everything and watched the trend, it put my mind at ease. Had it with me on our first few pediatrician visits so I didn’t have to REMEMBER, I could just flip through the pages and the info was right there already organized for me.

The quality of the construction is good. There are a few things that brought me to 3 stars. There’s 24 hrs in one day and this book confusingly starts and ends the day with the 6th hour. The binding came loose after a little while of tough use but has stayed on. I’d recommend a darker print for the letters and numbers. Most of the time we were feeding our kid in lower light, and you can’t read the light print very easily.

This helped keep us sane during those first weeks home. Our baby also was sent home with an NG tube so this was great for tracking how much milk he took by mouth and how much had to go through the tube. During the night when my husband and I would sleep in shifts it was a great source of information so we never had to wake each other up to ask when the baby was last fed, changed, etc.
