Can these 5pcs wedge pillows be used for men?

If you say in one place they do not move. There is no way to secure them to a surface.

Is there a pillow in this set that can be used to rest my arm on while sleeping that is about the height of the arm of a recliner?

You will have to experiment with the two wedge like pillows and maybe supplement it with the flatter lumbar pillow that comes with the set or use an additional bed pillow. This is what I did for shoulder pain during an severe arthritis flare post surgery and it worked pretty well for me laying on my back or in a semi reclining position.
