Well received Christmas gift
Purchased as a Christmas gift but was well received and reports are its a very good game, different to traditional monoply. More suited to teenagers and adults.

Really good fun! 8/10
If you haven't played a modern monopoly in a while, you should. They are usually a lot more streamlined and quick, with a definite end. In this one, the game ends once a certain number of passing go's has happened. (6 for a 4 player game)Getting to go in fall guys is a bit harder though. There are obstacles that can block you or even send you right back to the corner, and you have to roll a special dice and hope you can jump over or deactivate the obstacle. Also hope you don't land on an obstacle, because somebody else might activate it on their turn and send you back!Passing go nets you a crown, worth 20K, and property's and rent act like normal. The player with the most money(Kudos) at the end of the game (including property values) is the winner. In my game, I bought many properties but got trapped a lot and sent to jail, so every other player had a crown, one even had 2, before I made my first lap of the board. Thing is, though, I had a set of reds, and the obstacles there were activated frequently so people were forced to land there and pay me 6K. This quickly snowballed to a point where I bankrupt 2 players and owned 90% of the board, which was a rather fun way to win from behind. So, the race for the crown is important, but it's still possible to win if you're slower but get lucky with properties.Overall, a great, cut-throat and brutal edition of monopoly. It's great for families, and as a one off game every now and then, but I don't think it's terribly well balanced so it won't hold up well to multiple consecutive plays.8/10
