Many times thought it was bad but it wasn't
This has actually been working great for almost a year Had some issues with games shutting off or the computer randomly shutting off but found out it was a bios memory setting. This is working well now for over a month with no random shut downs. I'm a computer builder and didn't really trust an off brand but even though these are lightweight and the brand is not well known, I have to say I've been very impressed. My son recently upgraded to a Ryzen 7 and Nvidia RTX 3070 and it's been working great on ultra high settings for many GPU intensive games and there are no glitches.

If I could give this a 0 rating!
Do not waste your money on this power supply. After a half-month or so, I emailed Gamemax multiple times about the problem that I am having with the power supply not turning on or off, and there has been no response. Not only that, how can you be a company or sell tech stuff, and the only way we can get in contact with you is through an email at the very bottom of their website. It is very unprofessional, and I have waited months to write this review, but when I am being ignored, that is the last straw. To clarify, when I go to use my PC, it will not turn on at all. After troubleshooting the problem and unplugging it, it will turn on. But then some days it will power on, but out of nowhere it will turn off. I have checked the temperature, the connections, and all, but nothing. I even checked my motherboard for warring and nothing. So, I believe it is the power supply itself. Which means I will have to break down and spend another $100 on something I just paid for back in April. Just spend your money somewhere else, because this person doesn't care if it's been wasted.

Great Power Supply - Enough power for most gamers!
I bought this for a recent build. I love the 80 Plus Gold rating! This thing looks great, isn't loud, and love the modular aspect of it! 850w is enough to handle most needs. This pushes a 3060, Ryzen 9, 6 case fans, and a ton of peripherals without skipping a beat! Super happy with my purchase!
