Norcold 323TR 1.7 cu. ft. - 1 Door Refrigerator 2-Way DC/LP - Right Hand Door

If I could give it a zero I would. This is a freezer not a refrigerator. I bought it to replace my old Dometic that failed after 20 years of service. On the warmest setting on gas it will blow up soda cans by freezing them. Interior temperatures are anywhere from 0 degrees Fahrenheit to 28 degrees Fahrenheit depending on setting. All well below freezing. The dealership has had 3 of them in for the same problem and can't fix any of them. Norcold gives him, and me, the runaround on their customer service number, check this, check that, but they finally admitted that they designed it with a gas jet that is too big in it, ergo it freezes everything. They have officially told me that there is nothing that they will do and they won't refund my money or fix it when it is well within warranty. I am now out my $621.45 and will have to spend more money to buy a Dometic to replace this unit. This is a bad design from an even worse company who don't stand behind their products. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

I received a used unit. Dented door, broken sheetrock screws, additional holes and used pipe tape on the inlet. I did not order a used unit.

Works, but we have had trouble with excessive condensation. We started storing a cloth in the fridge to wring out the water every day when used in the summer

I have had these in two brand new RV's and they have never worked. Not even at first. I return them to be fixed, the techs fiddle with it for awhile and say try this and bring it back if it doesn't work. Next trip. no fridge, return and start over. Eventually I get tired of them trying to fix it. AC electric has always worked. Fine when you're parked at home. Battery sucks dry in hours if you try to use that. Gas just never works. Will not light, will not stay lit. Even more frustrating because the switch is right next to the gas hot water heater. One touch and its on, never any problems so it's not like we can't build something that works. I'm completely through with Norcold.

The Norcold was original equipment in our White water Retro trailer. We found the unit would not cool at all on DC or AC and would freeze everything on propane. Later I learned to lower the temp but it was still cold. Often difficult to light propane, and recently the propane jet seemes damaged after 5 years (don’t know why) and large flames came out from the propane area of the unit and that was the last straw. Make sure your propane and smoke alarms work if you have this. Looking to replace it or just make a storage area. Not worth $500 new bay be $259-275 new but no way $500. Crappy unit.
