29 August 2025 Just bought this transducer dimplex stove as a trial. I must say that I am very impressed with the initial performance, the stove fire effect as come alive as when first bought. The flame effect is perfect, as shown in photos. For £12.79 for this generic item its performance equal that of the original which presently costs £83.53 from the supplier. This equal to 6 x less expensive which means one can purchase without compromise even if they only last two months it’s worth the money. I would recommend this item as an option. Update: 7 September 2025 I think I was a little presumptive regarding my initial feedback on this item. My initial reaction to using this transducer was overwhelming, but two days later when the transducer stopped working I was not amused. I tried all possible means available to check for failure but nothing improved the situation. I must now admit that you’re best to avoid this item as it would not be financially viable to purchase this item continuously. I would recommend avoiding this item due to inefficiency at all costs. Item will be returned for refund. Replaced with dimplex original now fire works as expected

So much cheaper than the certified version so was worth a try. Seemed to work perfectly but I’ve now sold the fire so can’t comment on its longevity.

I presume the company leave a used disc in place so when you change it, you have a brand new disc. Anyway, I didn't do that at first and nothing happened. Once I worked it out and changed disc it started to steam just fine. But after 2 hours stopped working abd fire turned itself off. Not sure what's going on?

Straight in the bin, buy a GENUINE ONE! Genuine are expensive but they work and last, these are calibrated all wrong!

Easy to fit and Made my fire work like new.

Just arrived 1 hour ago replaced the old one and it worked straight away. Our Dimplex Opti Myst fire had stopped working properly, the mist had been getting less over a couple of weeks and then switched it on lights came on and it switched off after 30 seconds. Looked on YouTube for solution and a few people had the same problem and said the answer was to replace the transducer and it seems to have solved the problem. Obviously can't say how long it will last but for now very happy.

Replacement transducer for my Dimplex OptiMyst Gosport fire. It fits and works perfectly and as a bonus, its half the price of an original part. Also came with a couple of spare discs. Bonus! UPDATE - LESS THAN 1 YEAR ON - I bought this going into last Winter and whilst it was great and worked perfectly for a few mths, after re-comissioning (yes I thoroughly drained and cleaned the unit out after use last Winter as you should) it only worked for quite literally one evening this week so had to drop it 2 stars. In total, we've only had a couple of hundred hours use out of it. I would have expected this to have given at least a 1000hrs as a minimum. So .... the spare discs that came with it are pretty pointless because the even after changing it for one if the spares supplied, it made no difference because it is the unit itself which has failed. So my dilemma is do I buy another one, hope for the best and hope it lasts longer or do I buy the original part which is now 3 times the price?? Hmmmm 🤔.
