I like tablets instead of capsules. Capsules tend to float on top of the liquid used to swallow them, and actvate my gag reflex, and tablets don’t float. I heartily approve of the choice of oval over round for the shape of the tablets once they get past being tiny. It makes them much easier to swallow. As for the content of the tablets, I was glad to find these 250 mg tablets, to assist in tailoring my intake of niacinamide to the size of the meal I am ingesting. I spread the total of niacinamide throughout the day, to maintain a more even level in my body for the sake of my joints, but too much niacinamide, without a buffer of food, produces nausea. So, if all I’m having is a small bite or two, I want to be taking the 250 mg tablet instead of the 500 mg or 1000 mg tablet that might accompany a full plate of food at a meal.
