Secrets of Tattooing

I found this book to be extremely helpful. I have another book by this author and both books are great. The author provides a lot of good information and accompanying pictures that are useful to any beginning tattoo artist. I recommend this book (and other books by this author) to anyone wanting to learn to tattoo.

This book has proven to be very useful for me as an apprentice. Things were broken down so specifically that when you're handling things it all clicked.

All of Alayon books are very similar, so I would suggest just getting one book to start and that is:  The Craft of Tattooing . In my estimation, that book is Alayon's most complete and has most of the information this book has. I would also recommend for advanced tattooers:  Advanced Tattooing Techniques A Guide To Realism  Also, if you've got the cash, go for:  Reinventing the Tattoo, 2nd Edition

i bought this being curious about the mechanics behind tattooing. it was informative enough but the bad grammar and typos made me take every bit of information with a large grain of salt.

This was a gift to my son. He enjoyed it and would recommend this to anyone interested in this field.

Straight forward, there are no other tattoo books like these. If you want good texts to accompany an apprenticeship, these are the one (I won't ever recommend learning to tattoo from a book but you could with these). These three books are a good foundation.

Ich habe dieses Buch meiner Mutter zu Weihnachten geschenkt, die gerade mit dem Tätowieren anfängt und bereits einen 2-tägigen Kurs belegt hat.Trotzdem sind in dem Buch noch gute Geheimtipps, die sie in dem Seminar nicht bekommen hat.

Book came on time, good quality, exactly what is offered, although book is about basics for tattooing not about anything else, would like to have seen more in it.
