I only needed the back plate. It doesn't fit perfectly, but it does fit well, and included the little screws w/ the snap rings. It's not identical but it looks just about as good as the original and feels like it. Really thankful that it's being sold. And uh, blah blah it's perfectly durable and is a good value.

Ordered to replace a pair of cracked and breakign plate and while the bottom plate fit well. the upper one must have been manufactured slightly wrong and would not fit, So had to return, Seller though was very easy to contact and quick on t\he refund and had no issues on that front, DOn't blame seller as production errors on after market parts are sadly common and not the sellers fault so LEAving positive feedback for my interactions with the Seller

Everything was cut wrong. From the power button to the screws. The bottom plate just flat out doesn't fit properly. Very cheaply made and cut, it is semi close to being cut right but that doesn't matter when it wont properly go on the system.

Don’t listen to the mixed reviews this shell is awesome installing it could be a little hard but if you take your time you shouldn’t have any problems with it, I would still get a clear case to protect the shell because it’s thin, aside from that it really gives your 3ds a nice premium look

Bottom plate does not fit at all, and holes are very slightly off. Top plate was fine, which is all I really wanted, but now my plates are mismatching because I can’t put the bottom one on. Top plate is also just the tiniest bit off, but I have a clear case on the outside to close off the seams. Not worth the money. Apparently others got good molds that fit the system, but these clearly aren’t tested.

Not perfect but it really helped breath light back into my damaged new 3DS xl. Also arrived 2 weeks sooner than expected.

The Front cover was almost perfect, it just doesn't snap in all the way where the cameras are, leaving a very small gap. As for the back plate, wont fit at all. The Power button slot is cut incorrectly and to small, along with the audio jack.

I normally don’t write reviews but this product seems to have very mixed reviews, let me tell you it takes some tinkering and work but once you get it it looks beautiful and authentic I recommend watching a YouTube Video by Crimson cursed before removing the shell as his video helped me a lot in making it happen I never once removed a shell before so he is very helpful, once again highly recommend it takes work to do it but so worth it, it looks amazing I even removed my tag sticker from old back to this one to make it more authentic looking, highly recommend looks amazing !!!

It's pretty cheaply made and flimsy. I had to modify it by sanding to make it fit properly, and even then, it isn't a great fit. However, with a clear hard case covering it, my new 3ds XL does look really good, and you wouldn't be able to tell it was an unofficial shell unless you examined it.

The plates look great! The finish is beautiful and the artwork is nearly perfect as a replica. Overall they are good, the issues are just with the exact dimensions. They aren't perfect, the bottom plate doesn't quite fit as snug as the oem part. So it can squeak in your hands a bit. Also the holes on the bottom front for the headphone jack and the power button should be round and mine arrived more of an oval shape, which I had to trim to work properly. Other than that they are still really nice looking.

This shell was exactly what I was looking for to replace my tired Monster Hunter shell. However it was so so SO close to being what I wanted. The shell doesn't fit snugly around the side hinges on the top plate and the camera clips on the shell don't clip into the housing to make the shell flush with the house. The bottom shell was JUST snug enough to hold in, although the power switch hole should be filed down a little more to give the power button some room to breathe. I'm so disappointed. I'm going to reach out to the seller to see if there's something that can be done to remedy this. If not, I'll be requesting a refund. For this price, you'd think they'd fit like a glove since it's more expensive than other shells you can find online.

Back faceplate loose despite being screwed down. Not worth the money, I played for it.
