Tested before final install - it works and picture is clear with a good monitor. Compatible with Lorex 4K DVR security system. Has a lot of options to adjust contrast, sharpness, brightness and output. Bought mounting boxes and cable extenders and additional power adapter to compete the install to add 2 more cameras. Much cheaper than the Lorex 4K OEM cameras.

One of the cameras that came with my several years old Swann DVR 8-8075 package lost its night vision and started producing distorted video, so I decided on this as a replacement due to good reviews vs. some of the cheaper cameras. The video looks equally as good as the Swann cameras and seems solidly built with metal components. After evaluating the night vision. I can state it is superior to my old Swann cams. If any more of the original Swann cams go out I will replace with another one of these. The mounting holes I had previously for the Swann cam were in the exact location for this new cam, which I appreciated.

I ordered this and another brand camera as upgrades to my existing security system. Build quality looks to be pretty good, all metal construction. Picture is pretty sharp in the daylight and good at night as well. Where I think the camera falls down a bit is in how you can aim it once the base is fixed. It relies on essentially one screw to tighten it up for both left to right, up and down and rotation. On the left to right axis, it has notches that it wants to lock into and that tends to want to fix the position in larger say 15 degree increments. But that may not be the picture you want. So I ended up removing two of the three base mount screws and then rotated it that way and re-drilled the holes. That seemed to work. The other issue I noticed was the camera video seemed susceptible to interference on one of my farther out mounts where I think the connector had some level of corrosion in it. I ended up moving the camera to a different spot and the problem went away. From my remote monitor, it looked very pixellated and on the dvr screen you could see wavy lines. In its current position it is fine. The older camera doesnt seem to have this issue there.

This is a very good Camera from this brand for use in Tigersecu systems, it gives a wide broadview very clear at night time also like daylight.

We have this set up with a DVR monitoring system and it works well. It's actually about 400' from our house on a wired system. The only problem is that it needs to be replaced about every 3 years or so.

normally never leave comment or feedback ... haviung been a fan of Swann security systems for years buying a replacement camera was tramatic BUT thsi camara is AWESOME !!! clear always and extra bright night ... I may purchase another to repalce a unlit spot just cause these are soi good ... GREAT

Are the cameras have a great picture during the daytime hours. I have adjusted the settings for all the cameras to turn on the night vision manually and it worked for a few months just fine but all of a sudden every one of the four cameras I purchased I’ll quit working at night meaning the night vision on the cameras quit and it showsA pitch black picture I can’t see anything at all after sunset. I expected more from these cameras considering what I paid for them butI did get the extended warranty so I will be sending them back for replacements until I get more cameras that will work during the night and day as advertised. Hope this helps someone I will update my review after I received my replacement cameras

Picture and material quality are great. Maneuvering camera position difficult!
