Great slips from a local company!
I'll be honest, I'm not rating these 5 stars because of the quality (which is good, I can't find a single fault with anything about these slips, packaging, or anything. It deserves 5 stars for that).... It's primarily because I've found out they're made by Lake Charles manufacturing, which is a city in my little state of Louisiana. Had no idea we did that stuff! But yeah, they're perfectly good little squares of glass I put on slides to look at stuff from the pond. Good price, ships fast (for obvious reasons). Works great. Can recommend.

I bought these for our homeschool biology class and they work great! Excellent value for how many you get and love the case they came in. Also they came well packaged so that none broke. Perfect size as well.

Glass cover slips are always fragile
There are a lot of comments on here about how these coverslips are fragile, but that is true of all glass coverslips. They are very thin pieces of glass and can break if you are rough with them. If you are expecting to use them with kids then it would probably be best to use plastic ones, they are not as clear, but they are much safer. These slips came nice and clean, are of good quality, and came in a nice box. The main issue I had and the reason for 4 stars is that on arrival about 7 of the coverslips were broken. Now I see that as something to be expected whenever I get coverslips mailed as they are very fragile thing and did not seek any sort of a refund (so I cannot say if they would have done so), but still because of that they get a 4 out of 5.
