Suitable for all stages of injury. I tore my anterior ankle ligament clean through last year and have been using this wrap since the beginning. For compression for intitial swelling and pain, when not wearing a walking boot, to keep it stable and stop it from aching, hanging limp, and shortening my Achilles tendon while sleeping, for pain relief and extra support while in recovery.. I carry one everywhere I go and put it on when I get sore. I wear it for extra stability when doing something kind of active (active is relative when recovering from a bad injury lol) or walking on uneven terrain. I used a single one every day for a year and it’s still good to use. I only bought a new pair because it finally started looking a little ratty from all the use and abuse I gave it. I wear skirts and shorts and ankle length pants so it shows and I just wanted a fresh looking ones. I didn’t need to replace it for function though. Still perfectly usable Separately, I developed an autoimmune disorder recently and it’s fantastic relief for the swelling and discomfort in my ankles from that too. They’re comfortable. You can wear it all day with or without socks without irritation. Doesn’t rub against the skin or up against a bone in any uncomfortable way. It fits in sneakers easily and also some ankle boots I have that are only slightly roomy around the ankle. This would be all you need for a minor sprain— replaces both ace bandage wraps and braces with moderate support. The best thing about it is the adjustability. You can have low, moderate, or high compression and also control how it wraps/where it sits on your foot. Much more customizable than other braces available and you can adjust throughout the day depending on how it feels. Unlike other braces, my ankle never gets sore wearing this for extended periods of time. The price is amazing. This is something good to have on hand too for any ankle twists or minor injuries too. No need for ace bandages. Fits everyone including older children.

The only wrap to give me relief. I actually found out later that I fractured my foot and am now in a boot. I use it when I just need to take off the boot in the evenings. Easy to use and supports just the right spot on the side of my foot! Happy I found this after a few mishap purchases!

But the stitch between band support and flap hurts when worn for a longer period

For a minor sprain I found this to of much help. I have large wide legs that most things fit too tight, this fit very comfortably and the best choice for me.

Having a 30 yr old fracture that didn't properly heal it has definitely caused me to have much experience with ankle braces. I really have to say of all the ones I have ever tried and gave up on because of various reasons I can honestly say I am impressed with this one. I'm a mechanic who does a lot of standing, walking through slippery substances, squatting bending tip toeing you name it. I worn this brace all day today after being in continuous pain for almost 2 weeks prior to getting the product and I am amazed!!! I just got home from work to unwrap it and let it breath a while and do a little walk around to see if my ankle is a little less tender today to take note that I literally FORGOT I had this brace on all day. It didn't pull, slide, bunch up, come undone or move at all throughout my work day. I hoped around the shop taking out an alt,AC compressor, pulleys power steering pumps and climbed the lift and had ZERO pain. The support is 💯 I'm not wearing it at the moment but my ankle feels awesome. I highly recommend this product. Note: it did leave waves from the gel that goes against your skin to prevent sliding but their fading quickly and it's something minor for something so worth it.

I recently experienced a spill off of my front porch in which I injured the ligaments in my mid foot area on the left and sprained the right ankle. I was in pretty bad shape mobility wise and regular ace bandages helped, but just weren't enough to provide the support I needed without wrapping them so tight they turned my feet blue. Since I found these, I've been living in them, especially on the left foot as the right ankle has now healed, as nothing else is as comfortable as these are while providing the support I need to get around and live life as normal as possible. I still can't go out on an all-day shopping trip or the like, but I can do the stuff I need to do without having to load up on pain meds which I think is a real plus. These are easy to adjust as necessary to get the support I need, where I need it, while maintaining comfort. Because they are just a long, stretchy strap, I don't have to worry about bending an injured foot in certain ways to get them on. They are soft, don't rub raw spots on my skin, and fit into a shoe. The best part about them is they're versatile; as I need more support in the mid foot area on the left, I don't wrap it as shown in the instructions, rather I wrap around the ankle once and then wrap the rest of the strap around my foot. While these are the best things I've found for my situation, they aren't perfect. I gave them four stars because the mesh strap on the end that goes around the foot is somewhat stiff, but it isn't that noticeable once I get the wrapping on my foot, except that the seam where it is sewn onto the larger strap can be irritating, causing the area where it is laying to intensely itch. I've solved this by adding a fabric bandaid over the seam so that it can't rub on my skin, and I'm happy again.

This is very nice to use and easy to wear. You can adjust the strength as per your liking and can wear for long durations. The elastic is nice and at least for me does not create any skin issues. I normally put put some moisturizer, wear a sock and then wear this on top it, so that I do not get skill irritation. Overall, very good for my need.
