I'm projecting to a 186 inch screen from 20 feet away and have moderate ambient light. I use it for both movies and regular TV viewing thanks to the long-life bulb. This projector gets the job done quite well in the day and really shines at night. (hey, I can finally read the fine print!!) The interface is a little challenging to me, but nothing one cannot learn and master with a little time. The only compliant I might have is focus is not equal over the entire screen. This may only be visible due to the size. On a 100 inch screen, it might be perfect. Also, throw does not seem to be adjustable. Picture size is directly related to distance from screen....and the further away from the screen, the less light gets to the screen so the 4200 lumens really come in handy.

Excellent Projector!! I purchased this particular unit as it was the Brightest one I could find available. We are using it on a 19ft inflatable projector outdoors, I was concerned about the street lights washing it out, this wasn't a problem at all!! Once the unit was on and adjusted we could not even tell the street lights were there. The WiFi, Android operating, settings and menu, are super easy to use!! ( I would recommend hooking up a USB mouse, makes it easier.) Caiwei Direct has been amazing with communication, responses, even sending me tips and tricks via Email before the unit arrived. This unit also says 200" , I believe it would do much larger and still look amazing.Overall, I would definitely recommend this projector, and this company!!

I bought it over a year ago and use it almost every day. Here is a review of my experience:- REAAAALLY bulky. To travel with it, I had to put it on my carry on and it fitted just barely.-Airplay and screen mirroring won't work. It uses Chinese apps to do this, but they would not work. They sent me the APK files to reinstall, but nothing-They stopped answering my questions. I was always polite, but it seems they just gave up on trying to fix mine.-Play store doesn't work well. Is supposed to be android 6.0, but doesn't look like it-It has a bug: when I switch from AV, HDMI, Netflix or YouTube to Cable TV, half of the screen becomes blurry.-For the apps (YouTube, Netflix...) you have to be a geek to download versions that work with this projector. The default ones don't work.Besides this, cable TV works well, AV works well, HDMI and USB work well, sound is very good and image is very clear and bright even with the lights on.I am a tech geek and I tried to fix these issues, but got tired of it so I enjoy using what works in it. But be mindful of you are going to buy because of the features that in my case did not work.

We tested 3 projectors at once in a very bright warehouse environment to find out which projector could still display in a worse case scenario, and it was this one, the projector from CAIWEI. All projectors are not created equal. If you want one that can do everything this is the correct choice.

I just received my projector and love it so far. I set it up and watched a couple March madness games. I also put a couple Disney movies on for the kids. I thought I could just link my tablet up to it with a usb and play off that. Turns out I cannot. You need a google play account and then download xfinity or Netflix. You should definitely invest in a mouse. Makes it much easier to navigate. I think the only way to adjust the projection size is by moving the entire projector closer or farther from the screen.

I AM UPDATING MY REVIEW: Ok, so yes --- the lumens are NOT very bright (for business use) and this projector should not be used if you are presenting anywhere near ambient light; HOWEVER, the seller states that this is a home media use projector. They (the seller) are EXTREMELY responsive, and desire to provide their customers with a great experience. They have recommended an alternate product, that has fewer features, BUT is better suited to the intended use. I am optimistically changing this to a four star review, and I will review the new product accordingly.

We bought this last summer for outdoor movies in the backyard. Worked great initially. However, when I went to use it again just recently (had been in storage end of last summer), it is no longer working. There is no display on the screen. I tried using different cords and cables, but still the same result.

In a word - Wow. Great picture, very impressive. We host movie nights in our backyard and everybody is always impressed.

bought this product, furt one had a defect on the screen and the secod did not connet to my phone nor laptop via Bluetooth. Not useful. Poor sound quality and image quality was ok for price.
