A Good Buy
A Good cooling fan and works pretty well, low noise and easy to put. Come with thermal paste

Cool, quiet and very good value.
A very good value cooler; it keeps my CPU much cooler compared to my previous one. Cooling my AMD Ryzen 5 5600 to around 38°c-45°c at idle depending on the room temperature. The installation of the heatsink was simple, but fan was rather annoying to clip on using the supplied metal clips; though it worked out in the end. The fan is very quiet even at higher loads, but that is compared to my previous one which is basically a jet engine at higher loads. The Fan has RGB but since my b450 Tomahawk Max motherboard has no place to connect it, I unfortunately can't use the it and can only use the fan as a normal fan without lights; Otherwise it works perfectly. Time will tell how long the fan lasts, but any regular120mm PWM fan is probably compatible (you just clip it on with the metal clips onto the heat sink). Overall, a very good cooler that does the job well and doesn't break the bank.

Good budget CPU Cooler
Usually not a fan of RGB, but the lights are fine and look good inside of my case. It also acts as a bit of reassurance that it turns on when I boot up my PC. I bought this fan because it was cheaper and will just work with my CPU, MoBo configuration. Installation was easy, just follow the instructions on the manual. The screws did initially give me a bit of trouble. This was my first time building a PC so I was nervous if I was doing something wrong, but what you need to do is apply more pressure down on the screws to make sure that they go into the holes on both sides (make sure that you so them evenly) as they are spring-loaded. Temps on my CPU I have no complaints. My Ryzen 7 5700x stays very cool on idle and doesn't get hot when gaming. Noise levels is hardly noticeable, even when sitting right next to it. Only real complaint I'll give with the installation is how fiddly it is installing the fan onto the heatsink. Idk how it is with other coolers of a similar form factor, but it something that I found stressful as a first time builder.

Excellent budget cooler
Keeps temps under 80 degrees with 4.2ghz Ryzen 5 3600 max load

Very impressed
I watched a couple of comparison videos of entry level CPU coolers and this cooler had the same thermal profile as the Hyper 212 which costs over 50 pounds. It was a bit fiddly to install, but I love tinkering with my PC so wasn't an issue for me. Qualitywise I'm super impressed and it looks great as well. With the stock cooler my i7 was running hot under load (85-90C) and my PC horribly noisy too. After installing the SE-214 my PC is so much more quiet and my CPU is running cool, idle around 25-35C, under load 50-65C. For full transparency, I didn't use the provided thermal paste, I used Arctic mx4 paste.

Very good product
Perfect as described and keeps my ryzen 5 7600 as cool as 55 degrees fits perfectly is great value for my new and the quality is next level. Overall a very good and functional purchase

Great Cooler - Slight Issue Installing
It's a great cooler for the money - about as quiet as the fans in my case so not noticeable at all for the majority of usage cases. With higher loads on the CPU it does increase in volume but it's nothing extraordinary. The ARGB is great - the LEDs are perhaps a tiny bit dimmer than I expected but this may be something that can be adjusted and for the price I feel I can hardly complain. As mentioned in the headline, I had a slight issue installing the heat sink to the mounts. I used an AM4 motherboard. The spring-loaded screw on one side of the heat sink wouldn't screw down onto the mounts no matter what I did. I had to attach the heat sink to the mounts then screw down the mounts to get the cooler on the motherboard correctly. So far the cooler seems to perform well and is great value for money.

Surprised With This Cooler
I received this cooler today and was half expecting something wrong with it after reading loads of reviews on here saying this is broken or this is bent, but everything was absolutely fine after removing it from the box and checking it over. I haven't actually fitted it yet but intend to shortly. As well as this SE-214-XT i have already purchased the SE-914-XT. The reason i bought both is i have a Asus Motherboard with a 5600G with a Wraith Cooler which i intended to replace, i have also bought a Gigabyte B550-M DS3H and a Ryzen 5 5600X which i will be putting the 214 on and then the 914 on the 5600G. My case is full of lights so thought why not have one on the CPU Cooler as well. Everything seems pretty straightforward so looking forward to trying both. Update Just fitted this and running excellent, got the argb running with Gigabyte Fusion and working as it should. It's surprised me how quiet it is. For £20 who am i to complain. A Definite step up from the Wraith i was using before.

Fantastic, but fragile
My son got this for his FIRST gaming computer, and my first computer build in over a decade. He loves the ARGB, and I love the performance and value. PRO: Quiet and "cool": ++ VERY quiet -- way more quiet than the stock AMD cooler (per reviewers). Not silent, but even at full speed it's more quiet than I expected. Just above a whisper with the case open. Wow! ++ Seems to cool well (On a mid-powered AMD Ryzen 7600X, 65W to 105W). ++ Heatpipe shape "setback" leaves ample room for any size RAM sticks (On an ASRock B650M Pro RS WiFi mATX motherboard). ++ Impressive machined copper CPU contact points. ++ Long fan wires, versatile mounting hardware options and included thermal paste made it easy to install. ++ ARGB colors may be a bit cliché, but damn, it's fun and cool! (and can easily be turned off or unplugged.) ++ Arrived in perfect condition (no bent fins from the manufacture or shipping)**. CON: Bulky and fragile: -- This cooler's height is 150mm, and I found out the hard way that it does NOT fit into a old-school mid-tower mATX case that is 175mm wide externally. Now that it's installed, I can measure the case's mobo stand-offs (~12mm), plus the AMD AM5 CPU and motherboard (10mm thick), plus this 150mm cooler... all add up to about 172mm, which is about 3mm to 5mm too much for the internal space, and the case's side-panel won't completely close. So, I have to leave the panel slightly ajar with a 5mm gap on one edge (better ventilation?). :-) This is my own fault for taking a gamble with my old narrow-ish case. I tried to find a good 145mm cooler, but didn't find many options. I wish this one shaved 5mm off it's height. So close! I'll make it work. -- This cooler fan's center sticker is slightly off-center, so it LOOKS like the fan is out-of-balance (wobble), but the fan is actually in balance, so it's just a minor visual annoyance. I'm tempted to remove the sticker. -- **Even when we were being extremely careful, we bent a few fins during install and PSU wire routing (minor, cosmetic). Wishlist: o Given the ample space between the CPU and the these bottom fins (and ample RAM clearance), I would like to see a re-design that is 5mm smaller, so it's 145mm tall. o Some sort of plastic frame around the edges of the cooling fins, so we're less likely to bend them? (I know this would increase cost and possibly lessen the cooling capability, but hey, I can dream, can't I?).

Recommended budget option
For its price, it’s actually decent and capable. Even when pushing a Ryzen 9 5900X hard, it managed to keep the temperature bellow 75°C
