I did not expect this kit to be this good. The scissors are fantastic. They fold up very small and store well in this tiny case. Perfect for a compact travel bag or in a backpack while camping. You never know when you might need to make a repair on a piece of clothes and this little gem has come in handy many times. The needles are nice and sharp and are easy to work with. The multiple colors of thread is very handy and the quality of the thread seems to be ok. It repairs seams fine and holds buttons. The thread is not as nice as some, but if that is important to you, put some of your own in the kit. The scissors. For such a tiny pair, they are sharp and easy to use. I would not cut out a pattern or anything, but I have had no trouble cutting a patch out of a scrap of denim to repair some pants while camping. This is a great kit.

The nicest sewing kit I've ever seen. High-quality folding scissors, nice thread in a number of common colors, sturdy measuring tape, and everything you need to do basic sewing repairs on the go. The compact kit barely takes up any room in a toiletry bag while traveling. The scissors are nice enough that I use them for cutting threads on sewing projects at home.
