Excellent for homeschool, coding, and independent building
We bought LEGO Spike Essential for our son, and he uses it all the time. We use it for homeschool lessons, coding, robotics, and building, but he also uses it on his own for solo projects. It was very easy to set up, and he is now old enough to use the software and follow the instructions without me needing to direct him step-by-step. He has enjoyed it so much that we have added more LEGO Spike items over time. We really have no complaints. The only thing I wish is that it came with at least one more power pack/control unit, because it would make it easier to build more projects without swapping pieces around. Overall, this has been a fantastic educational set and worth it for us.

Best way to utilise money to educate kids while playing
1. the set is more expensive on other platforms. 2. it is worth investing money to educate kids while playing. 3. various combinations possible to form animated play things - super cool.

No gears
A lot of simple details that you can find in other kits. Not enough details for mechanic construction. Not even one gear in the whole kit!! Disappointed, not worth it. Other kits (not lego but compatible) are much better and cheaper, use them for your lego.
