I've replaced a lot of standard electrical plugs, but this was the first time I needed one for usb power. These are bigger than the little end I had to cut off, but not so big as to make them clunky. My repair was to a magnifying lamp so only two power wires were needed, but these plugs are designed for 4wire to allow data transfer. I'm just happy that these exist because I'm hard on cords and they'll be needed again!

Worked great... but put a little glue on the casing before snapping it together and use a heat shrink tube at the end of the cable and casing. Works just fine

If you don't like soldering or if you are trying to replace the connection quickly, get this. They are very easy to reconnect and are heavy. It turned my 15 minute job into a 2 minute one and I don't have to worry about it breaking because of the metal enclosure. Definitely recommend.

My son killed a led light my daughter had in her bedroom, luckily with my husband an electrician he was able to get the right stuff to fix her plug in light
