The sound quality is crystal clear and I can record for hours without any issues. What I love most about this device is its portability. The battery life is really impressive as well. I can use it for hours on end before needing to recharge it. The MP3 voice recorder also has some really useful features such as voice activation and recording scheduling. The voice activation feature makes it really convenient because it automatically starts recording as soon as it picks up any sound. I've tested a few of these small digital recorders. While none of them give you the playback sound quality that your smartphone might give you, having something like this that is so small and convenient to put in your shirt pocket is nice to have. I find that a smartphone only works for certain situations, whereas this works for most situations. This one in particular has a color screen. While that may not seem to be important, I find that the color screen makes it easier for me to see the screen. Another nice feature about this recorder is that it records to a micro SD card, whereas most other recorders record to internal memory. Since micro SD cards are very cheap, this allows me to save an infinite number of recordings by simply throwing the card into a drawer once it fills up and then insert a new one. Battery life was never an issue for me, as I have a habit of plugging my devices in to a charger when not being used. This ensures that my phones, smartwatch, recorder and other controllers are always at a full charge. With the built in speaker to playback recordings, this is a nice little recorder that does what it is intended to do, and with the micro SD slot, it provides unlimited storage for my recordings.

I got this for use in recording sermons and biblical counseling sessions at church, so that's my use case. Pros: --- Generous starter-amount of internal storage space, no external SD card needed (I still installed an extra one anyway) --- Very small size which makes it compact and easy to take with me anywhere, in my pocket --- LED screen is simple and straightforward and contains all things needed to use this properly --- Good battery life --- Good recording quality level for recording sermons/counseling conversations to listen to later like a podcast. --- Navigating in the screen's interface with the buttons is fairly easy but takes several minutes to get a decent handle on it. --- Feels fairly durable and sturdy in its construction. Cons: --- Microphone recording audio quality is very so-so, not great but not terrible. Had to do substantial post-recording edits to the recorded audio on my computer before the audio sounded acceptable. --- Bad recording quality level for music or anything where high fidelity is important --- Touching or handling the recorder while it's recording will result in very loud snapping/popping sounds on the recorded audio. Do not use this like a microphone for interviewing people on-the-go, or for secretly recording people with this hidden in your pocket, it will do terrible for that. It is better suited for use in sermons or conversations where you start recording and set it down somewhere where it won't be touched/disturbed) --- Audio playback speaker has horrible sound quality and does not accurately reflect the fidelity of the actual recorded audio, which will mislead many people (mostly the technologically-unsavvy) of how what they recorded sounds on the actual audio file, if they think the speaker on this is supposed to be 100% reflective to the quality of the actual recording. --- The LED screen on this is both very small and very pixelated, feels like it came off a device from the 1990's.

Perfect size, easy to use, amazing battery life and GREAT quality sound!!!! Sturdy and easy to carry and conceal!!!! A must have!!!!!

This digital voice recorder has great speakers and records wonderful. I tried it first recording myself talking to mother with it behind my back, the tv was on in the other room and when I played it back it picked up my mother's voice as if she was speaking right into the recorder and could not her the tv or any background noises. It is so small and easy to hold in the palm of my hand.

This is a sleek design and it serves it's purpose. However, trying to download the files to a computer is a nightmare. I've tried the way it says and it doesn't work. I literally have to play the recording and record it on my phone. Why didn't I just use my phone to begin with? Because I needed to record something without it being recognized in a one party consent state.

I have used several of these recorders! I love this 72GB Voice Activated Recorder with playback. I use it for meetings. It is small enough to tack away, beautifully designed, functionally is seamless. I am loving it. If you are in shopping for a voice recorder, give this one a shot. You won't be disappointed! This voice recorder feels incredibly plasticky, especially buttons —more like a toy than an actual recording device. The audio quality is mediocre at best, with background noise and poor clarity. Honestly, my phone records better audio than this. I expected something more professional, but this just doesn’t deliver. Save your money. I’m asking my money back!
