Oakley Flak 2.0 XL OO9188 Rectangle Sunglasses for Men for Women

I bought these for my son who’s a PGA golf teaching professional. He’s outside many hours day and wears these sunglasses every day. They are the best glasses he has worn for golf. The look great they are high quality, comfortable, and they allow him to see the greens and contours concisely without having to take them off. Definitely worth the money and will buy them again if necessary.

Solid performance sunglasses that earn their price, but only if you actually use them for activity. These are ideal for casual athletes—running, biking, driving—not someone just wanting fashion shades. I used them for outdoor workouts and long drives, and the clarity and lens coverage are noticeably better than cheaper pairs, especially in bright conditions. They stay put, don’t bounce, and reduce eye strain over time. That said, they feel more functional than premium in hand—lightweight to the point of almost flimsy if you’re expecting a luxury feel. Compared to budget sport sunglasses, the optics are clearly superior; compared to higher-end lifestyle brands, they’re less stylish and more utilitarian. I expected top-tier build and performance; reality is excellent performance with average-feeling materials. Verdict: yes if you value function over flash.

If you like the original Oakley flak jackets chances are you’ll like these too. I had to do a double take when I first saw the price and I jumped on it I paid the little extra for the prizm polarized lenses and in total they still cost less than just a set of the same replacement lenses that came with the size glasses from Oakley they came quick and they are 100% authentic with the full kit (case and carry cloth). Compared to the originals it is an upgrade i aesthetic IMO and in comfort. Also Although the dimensions are nearly identical the 2.0 definitely wear and look a bit bigger on face and the lenses give better coverage. Also the lenses technology is superior in the 2.0 I would highly recommend spending the extra to get the prizm lenses the clarity and contrast is the best I’ve ever owned. With all of the available aftermarket and oem options available you can really customize the heck out of these they are a good universal option that will suit a wide variety of face and head shapes the lenses are super easy to swap, they are lightweight and grip your face good even when your sweating they are also very comfortable with a hat on which is definitely a make or break for me for sport Singapore glasses. All in all you just can’t go wrong with these especially if you can find them for a steep discount!

I'm torn if I should give these glasses 4 or 5 stars. I just now looked at the product page for these glasses and the price has shot up around $100 to $214. I only spent around $100 for them. Honestly, I like these glasses, but I wouldn't spend that much for them. I only wear them when playing tennis, and I play a lot of tennis. It's going to be summer soon here in the Deep South and the sun is always blazing bright, and hot. I've had these glasses for about 2 months and have worn them several times in bright sunlight on the tennis court. They help immensely by cutting the sun glare down. I don't mind serving in the sun as much, I almost always can trace the ball whereas before I would lose it in the sunlight. However, they don't completely block sun glare. On an especially bright morning I tried to return a high lob and lost it in the sunlight. These are definitely very helpful to see the tennis ball in sun glare, but they don't completely eliminate it. As far as comfort goes they feel fine. I'm female and have a narrowish head and they stay on very nicely. The glasses case is very durable and I always place my $100 sunglasses back in it after wearing them. I like these a lot, and don't regret for a minute buying them, but I would wait and see if the price goes back down to $100 or close too.

The Flak 2.0 XL sunglassesare excellent-they fit well and are comfortable. I'm thinking of buying different lenses.

Perfect sunglasses. Inside the house I measured a light transmission of 70%. Outside, the UV component of the sunlight will darken the lenses progressively. so the lenses will adapt to the circumstances imperceptibly. Ideal for driving. Perfect fit. very pleased.
