This filter is FANTASTIC. I couldn’t believe the difference in suction when I switched to this filter and I’m never turning back! If you have a compatible Miele vacuum I advise that you run, not walk, to purchase it.

Miele expensive but works well
Purchased this as a replacement for our Miele Canister Vacuum. Went with OEM since I don't trust third party products. It is more expensive but it does fit well and last longer than advertised. We have not noticed any smells thus far. One star off for cost.

Original filters, work better than others
Original Miele equipment. My wife swears she can see a real difference in these and the other cheaper available brands.

Works well
Good quality HEPA filter. I'm on my second one. The red line indicating when it should be replaced is not very accurate; after about three years I decided to replace my original one even though the bar wasn't at the end yet. The top side of the filter was still white, but the bottom was dark gray, almost black. It clearly filters well, and lasts a while, making the price worth it. I like that there's a rubbery seal around the edge to ensure no air can escape around the sides without being filtered. Double check compatibility with your vacuum model first -- I've accidentally bought the wrong filter model before.

Immer lieber das Original
VERPACKUNG: Der Miele Hepafilter SF HA 50 kommt in einem Karton der nur knapp größer ist als der Filter selbst. DESIGN: Dear Filter ist sehr robust und sieht auch professionell aus. Nicht irgendwie billig oder einfach nur eine Filtermatte sondern wirklich robust mit Dichtungen und einem Time-Strip. FUNKTION: Der Filter an sich ist die Funktion und das macht er wirklich gut. Ich konnte keinerlei Verunreinigungen feststellen und auch Gerüche werden rausgefiltert. Der Time-Strip ist ein Hinweis wann der Filter gewechselt werden sollte. Ich halte es jedoch nicht für sinnvoll denn in der Regel wird ein HEPA Filter nur noch besser wenn man ihn länger betreibt. Der zeitliche Indikator ist für mich irrelevant bei dieser Anwendung. FAZIT: innerhalb von ca. 10 Jahren die ich den Miele S5 verwende habe ich zwei Mal den HEPA filter getauscht (abgesehen vom Time-Strip der mich nicht interessiert). Super Filter würde jederzeit wieder bei Miele kaufen.

Buen filtro original
Recambio original. El paquete de cartón vino un poco dañado y rasgado, como si hubiera sido separado de un paquete mayor al que estuviera adherido (promocion?). El filtro estaba nuevo aunque el paquete parecía abierto, solo cerrado por el cartón. Está en perfecto estado y funciona muy bien.
