The seller is fantastic—super responsive and genuinely helpful. This deck is a huge upgrade from the OEM radio. Sound is excellent, and all my steering wheel controls worked perfectly—completely plug-and-play. Pros: Great sound; adds power to front and mid speakers with the OEM amp. Highly customizable, almost like a smartphone. Easy backup camera upgrade—OEM camera looks terrible on the new screen, so a $20 aftermarket camera makes a big difference. Cons: You lose the ability to adjust liftgate height through the deck (manual adjustment still works). Subwoofer output is a single port instead of left/right (fixed with a $2 RCA adapter). No built-in XM radio—you’ll need the app or a dedicated tuner. SIM card works, but only supports 4G LTE. I solved this with a cheap used 5G phone + hotspot for fast streaming. Overall: This head unit is a massive improvement over the stock radio. Customer service is top-notch—they go the extra mile. Highly recommend for any Highlander owner looking to upgrade!

I recently installed this aftermarket Apple CarPlay upgrade, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! The installation and setup was easier than expected, and it integrated seamlessly with my car. The display is crisp and responsive, making it a breeze to navigate through apps like Maps, Music, and Messages. The responsiveness of the touchscreen is top-notch, and the voice control with Siri works flawlessly, letting me send texts, make calls, and control music without taking my hands off the wheel. The wireless connection is fast and reliable – no annoying lags or dropouts. It’s a total game-changer for my driving experience. Not only do I have access to my iPhone’s key features, but the interface is also clean, user-friendly. Unless your an expert then I would say no to this unit. I was a mechanic for years so I know my way around a little bit. I was not an audio tech but still think I have a good ideal of what's going on. With that said the unit was for the most part easy to install and looks great in my 2016 highlander. BUT after that your pretty much on your own. The backup cam didn't work, the steering wheel controls didn't work google would not link up. I had the unit hooked up to my house internet for faster down loads. As a matter of fact the only things that seemed to work was the receiving calls and the radio. None of the car setting could be set. Now in there defense I'm not saying that a lot of these things could be fixed if you want to speed DAYS searching the internet and hours on YouTube looking for the answers because this unit comes with pretty much NO instructions and the ones that did come with it didn't match with this unit. Now I knew that I would lose few functions BUT as you will find they don't tell you which ones soooooo how do you even know what can be fixed. I think it's sad that for the price they could do a lot better. For this reason I returned the unit.

This might be a little long but I have to tell the whole story. The first order was talking forever and I canceled it but wanted this radio. After weeks of waiting for it to be shipped I just got tired and pull the plug. I wanted this unit to add a few upgrades to my Toyota Highlander. I was excited to have found this and was hoping it would really work out well. After cancelling the first order I decided to try it again. The second unit came and went in without too many hassles. The first time I started the unit I couldn't get on line. After much work and contacting Support it did connect but it was never right. It would drop and if did connect the signal was weak. The AM/FM receiver stopped working after a day and things continued to get worse. No Android auto, no radio no navigation. I returned the unit. After all the rereading and research this was still the biggest bang for the buck and seemed to be a simple install so I thought I would take another chance. I thought for the money and all the rave reviews maybe I got a lemon and the next one would work out. The third Ts-10 came on time, and I installed it in 30 minutes without any problems. While sitting in my driveway I connected to my home network ( the first radio would not connect there.) and I even stated watching You Tube videos. The AM/FM receiver sounds strong and clear. Android Auto connected both wired and blue tooth without any trouble. My steering wheel works. All the buttons do what they did before the new radio. The touch screen is bright, responsive and reacts fast. I have all my settings for the car and the radio that were there before. My Phone works well and sounds great. For the money this had everything. The back up camera works well and looks clear. That was the hardest thing trying to figure out which connection to use. The wiring harness makes it fairly simple. Yhe hardest part was taking all the trim off but in hind sight even that wasn't a real problem. IF you have some experience with tools it should go in easy. Most importantly their support is very very helpful. They try hard to help you make it work sending messages pictures with arrows where to plug things in and links to videos that show you how others put things together. The last one is working well so far. They have contacted me asking me again if it was working out and if they could help. So far, I'm happy with the head unit.

Overall I'm extremely satisfied. I tried to replace my stock 2017 highlander radio with a less expensive one than this, but the lag times and software issues were unbearable. This unit, on the other hand, was easy to install, came with better instructions and when i had one installation issue, they provided expert guidance within on day and my problem was solved. I've had it in my car for 3 weeks now and am very happy with the look, function and enhanced performance.. GPS apps and CarPlay work very well and the size and clarity of the screen are perfect for my old eyes! I'd looked at options from other vendors but they were all at least twice the cost as this with much more complicated installation requiring separate orders for installation cables and hardware. This appears custom-made for my car with no appearance of aftermarket installation.

So glad we bought this! I was looking for a good year however all other products didn’t give me much confidence from reading the reviews. When I saw this one the only downside was the lack of instructions. I’m somewhat handy and found multiple videos online so figured I’d go for it because we were tired of not having CarPlay. I watched the videos I found and between that and using common sense I got it hooked up! Amazing overall!! Here are some pros and cons of this particular unit and from the videos I saw seem to be consistent across the board hovering the pros way outweighs the cons in the end. Also, the customer service is probably the best I’ve ever experienced. I had multiple little questions ranging from how to install to how make it do certain things and they always answered my questions within 24-48 hours with very detailed responses which was so awesome! Note: we got one for our 2019 Toyota Highlander SE. Pros: - Larger screen - Great screen resolution - Apple CarPlay. Also does Android if you have that. - Tons and tons of audio settings if your into tweaking all the settings. If not, still has the options - Touch screen that’s very responsive with very little to no lag. - All steering wheel setting work exactly as before. Note: had to reach out to customer service to figure out how to get some things swapped. When I pushed up it would go down on the screen. Again, lack of user knowledge and instructions but they helped me quickly. - Siri works great and responds very well to prompts through the unit. Cons/things to at least know: for my car anyway - No longer shows the navigation on my instrument cluster like the factory one did. No big deal because the navigation now is 100 times better on the screen. - No longer allows the use of the backseat intercom setting. I thought it was fun however never really used it before. - sometimes struggles to connect to phone if both my wife and I get in the car with our phones. It defaults to the last phone if you’re both there and if you try to change it with you both sitting in the car it struggles. Slightly frustrating at times but doesn’t happen often. - if you get in the car and your spouse was connected last you sometimes have to drive 100 yards or so away before it can’t connect to their phone and then connects to yours. - the little microphone it comes with for talking to it doesn’t have the best adhesive. In the end it’s not a big deal cuz it still hears me. Talking on the phone car be not the best quality through the mic however that probably has to do more with where you place the mic. I placed ours down by the usb ports vs up on the windshield corner where it would probably work great. Overall I’d tell anyone to buy this!! As with all things it has little quirks however the pros way outweigh the cons and the customer service is amazing so it’s a huge win and upgrade for our car. The kids love it too.

I bought this for my wife’s vehicle. Removing the standard equipment was not too difficult and installation was not difficult either. I wish the instructions were in color as this may have decreased some of the confusion.. The only thing that does not work is the backup camera. I had emailed back-and-forth with the company rep and no solution was really found. I purchased an additional wire harness as instructed, backup camera 10 pin set up as well and I even went to the extent of buying an additional camera trying to get it to work. The backup camera doesn’t work on my unit. This has been a source of frustration for me as I’m usually pretty good at troubleshooting most of the electronics issues. My wife has gotten used to backing up without the camera. I probably wouldn’t buy it again based on the issues.

I installed this in a 2017 Highlander mainly to get CarPlay. It installed fairly easily and it seemed all was good at first. Reverse camera worked, steering wheel volume worked, CarPlay worked, Radio was fine. But then when my wife was driving it she pointed out some things that stopped working that are show stoppers. The beeps warnings when you are coming close to something or they are on side you no longer work. The cool little screen in front of steering wheel that shows current speed limit and where you are no longer works. The cross traffic safety system in back no longer works, and very bad, the backup video sometimes freezes some where it looks like you have room but you don't because the screen is showing you something a couple seconds ago. I looked through all the setting and cannot see anything else to do so far. Will be uninstalling and putting factory one back in unless I solve which seems little chance of that now.
