Needed some shorts for an upcoming beach trip to wear over bikini bottoms or just lounge in. The leg shape is flattering, and waistband is nice and stretchy, but is NOT high rise as stated (hence the 4 stars)...it's more of a mid to low rise on me. But because it's a looser waist with drawstring, it doesn't cause me to muffin-top as lower rises do if you have my body type. I am 5'10", @ 168lbs, avg athletic non-hourglass build. The short inseam is short, but not tight which is exactly perfect for casual use. Very cute. Got the navy, size L.

These shorts are super soft and very comfortable, perfect for lounging around the house or by the pool. I love that they have pockets, which makes them extra practical. However, there are a couple of things to note before buying: Shrinkage: After the first couple of washes, I noticed they shrink slightly, which makes the fit a bit shorter and snugger. Coverage: These don’t provide full backside coverage, so I mostly wear them at home. When I do wear them outside, I pair them with thong underwear to avoid visible panty lines, as the fabric tends to show every line underneath. Overall, they’re great house shorts—soft, lightweight, and cute—but if you want a more modest fit or plan to wear them out frequently, consider sizing up.

I love these shorts - they are very comfortable. They are suitable for working out, lounging or wearing casually. I will order more. The waistband is very forgiving and has a functional drawstring also. The length is good. I ordered a med and they are true to size.
