Simply tera's Organic Whey Protein Powder, Plain Unsweetened - 12 Oz

Having dental surgery and knowing that you're going to be on a soft/liquid diet for an extended period is the pitts. This product is helping make it a little better. I wanted something that wasn't flavored. It's a bonus that it's Organic and has no added ingredients. I have mixed it into soup, mashed potatoes and applesauce. It mixes in well with no lumps and no grit. And there is no aftertaste. It has given me a way to add extra protein to the foods that I can eat, easily and without issues. Mixing it into hot/warm foods is easy if you mix it in milk or water first, then let the food cool a bit and then add it.

I had a hard time finding a whey supplement that was 1) organic, 2) unsweetened and 3) unflavored. This product hits all my requirements. I mostly add it to pancake mix on days I am going to work out and find that with the extra protein I can last through the workout without fatigue or getting suddenly hungry. It mixes well into dry mix and does not alter the taste or consistency of the finished product.

Aside from the fact that you can't (unless you're a scientist with a laboratory) scientifically analyze what is actually in the powder and how pure it is (I'm deciding to take them at their word that it's organic and grass fed) I feel good about this product. Although unsweetened, whey does have a little bit of a distinct flavor, kind of milky sweet, which you might or might not like. If the latter, you can mitigate that in smoothies by adding other ingredients with a stronger flavor like, say, pure cocoa or cinnamon or raspberries etc. I personally add a couple of scoops to most anything I bake: homemade bread, muffins, even cake. That small amount (which provides 21g of protein) doesn't affect the taste nor the texture yet boosts the protein per serving a couple of grams. I did notice that the price has gone up quite a bit since the last time I bought it, but so has nearly everything else. At least with this product you are presumably helping your health, not hurting it, like so many other junky things we blow money on all the time.

This is a very good organic choice for whey protein. I like that it is not flavored; it blends well in a blender when making a smoothie and doesn't add any weird taste to the smoothie. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because it is kind of pricey. If you are interested in another organic whey powder that is a little cheaper and just as good check out Jarrow organic whey.

This stuff is awesome. Flavorless but makes my coffee creamy.

This the perfect protein powder without changing the taste of the food. Will make any food high protein!! I recommend this product!! Give it a try!!

DO NOT BUY!! I had high hopes for this product, but I wasted my money…. as an avid protein drinker. I have to say this is got to be the worst stuff I’ve ever tasted in my life unfortunately the return window was closed, and there’s something rotten in this and I went and looked at the other reviews and a lot of people said the same thing -that they changed the recipe, do yourself a favor and save your money. Don’t buy this
