Flush valve kit easy install

Actually works. Solved a leaking toilet that would stop leaking with other kits.
I only used the gasket. Other kits gaskets would still leak. I went through 4 or 5 other kits trying to fix the leak. This one was the only one that worked.

The hardest part is getting the old flush apparatus off. Once off easy to install the new equipment

Flapper Clip Design Flaw
This fixed my flush valve issue but the flapper came leaking. I diagnosed the leak to be coming from the side closest to the overflow valve. The flapper seals perfectly fine when unclipped. Starts leaking with clipped back on. Turns out, the previous flapper (also Fluidmaster) looked like whoever installed the previous one also carved a little further into the plastic so the flapper could sit properly. Otherwise, the tool is very nice to have, but can also encourage overtightening and potential cracking of the flush valve plastic. Moderation.

Very easy to set up and install. Pleasantly surprised!
I've had a problem with a leak for some time now, and it's been driving me crazy. I tried replacing the flapper several times, but as it turns out there was a crack in The overflow tube that was allowing water to slowly seep out. This item arrived the day after I ordered it and I just installed it this afternoon. I've never performed this repair in the past, but it was a lot easier than I was fearing. Best of all, problem solved! I don't know how much a plumber charge is to perform this service, but for me, this was a great value for the money.

Great quality drop in replacement!
I’ve only used Fluidmaster products in my maintenance career, so this was an easy choice for my home toilet. Guest toilet had a constant leak that wasn’t the flapper or any of the usual suspects. This flush valve solved the problem. The included wrench for the bottom nut was a nice extra.

Junk
the valve itself is fine even though it sits a little high off the bottom of the tank. The flapper is junk. To keep it the toilet from leaking, I had to use the previous flapper.

This did not fit my toilet tank, so I returned and I went to home depot to look for another kit, just to see this one there for about $26.
