Easy to install and works perfect!
------ why i was looking for this product----- I live on campus in an apartment right by some frat and sorority houses. I underestimated how loud they would get on the weekends and even the middle of the week. I thought I'd get a head start before they all come back from winter break to make some changes to avoid some of their nuisances; one of these being the lights. The street lights are on anyway, but when they party the lights from their buildings and leds shine into my window. I live in the basement part of my complex so my window is high up and there's really no way to completey block the light. The cops also come very often because of underage drinking, noise, or just general problems that go on during their parties. So I also have to deal with the bright cop lights . ---- why this?----- I saw this product during my search for a curtain. Im not allowed to drill holes or even use adhesive or tape here, but we use command strips anyway. I was going to get adhesive curtain rod holders, a curtain, and a rod, but there's not much space or flat area to place it on my windows. It's also above my bed and I didn't want to get wacked in the head if it happened to fall. This product looked easy to place, was affordable, and looked like an actual black out curtain. ---- application---- It was super easy to install. I didn't have fabric scissors but my regular cheap scissors worked fine to cut this. My scissors glided smoothly during the cuts. I will note that I didn't notice one of the rods was bigger than the others, so I taped two together. I was about to tape the 3rd when i realized it just slides in. So i took the tape off and just slid the two smaller ones into the bigger one. The velcro was very easy to install and sticks great! I was worried it wouldnt stick well on my window because 1) the wall is cold from the snow, and 2) there's no flat space. It wasn't a problem and the curtain adhered just fine. ----- use ----- The clips work perfectly for holding the curtain when you roll it up. The light is completely blacked out. I included a video to compare my two windows. I only bought 1 to test it but now that I know what a great product it is, I'll be ordering a 2nd one for my other window. I got this one on sale for $13 but it was originally $19. Either way, the value matches the price, and its a great solution for anyone looking for a cheap but quality fix to light blockage.

Where have you been all my life!!!
I LOVE THIS AND WILL BUY MORE!!! This blind definitely keeps out the light and I can see my TV without the sun glaring on it through my curtains. Installation was pretty easy. The directions were easy to understand. Make sure when attaching the velcro to the blind to have it on a flat surface and keep the blind taut and straight when applying the velcro strip. As you can see in my picture, upper right, I did not keep the tape straight. But now I know better, and so do you. (wink) I have curtains so no one will know, or see it. I might buy a different colored one for other areas of my home. The thickness is pretty good. They did show that you can iron out the wrinkles, but the appearance of this blind is not a concern because it is behind my curtain, so I'm not worried about the wrinkles. Once again, I LOVE THIS BLIND!!!!

100% Effective! I haven’t slept this good in years- seriously.
These blinds are absolutely amazing- and have drastically impacted my quality of sleep within the past weeks. My room is positioned in a way which the sun rises directly into my eyes when I used to wake up for work. Typically I wouldn’t be getting my full 8 hours since the sun was doing a number on how much sleep I was getting. However, with these curtains now, if they’re all the way down it’s hard to even tell if it’s day light out. There is 2 sides of the curtains, one side has more of a fabric touch, which the other is a more reflective black that doesn’t absorb the light. In which it makes my room totally black during the day. Installation is easy, typically there is 2 adhesive strips, one for you’re wall and the other for attachment- however, the quality of the adhesive was lacking, so my blinds only stayed up for about a day until they fell off. That was an easy fix though. I was able to order some Velcro separately that still attached the blinds perfect and has kept them secure with no sagging… despite the lack of quality in the adhesive- the blinds are a perfect choice and I would definitely recommend this product- I would just consider having some safety pins, thumb tacks, or adhesive to ensure the blinds don’t fall off.

A little disappointed, but...
I'd have given 5 stars, if they were the size that they said they were supposed to be. I ordered 3, 2 black and 1 with the planets. My windows are 33inches wide, so I ordered ones that were supposed to be 35 inches wide. They are not 35 inches wide. There is a gap on both sides of the planet one. They've got to be at least 2 and a half inches too thin. The black ones are both probably an inch too thin, but they're okay because they still fully cover my windows. The annoying part is that the planet one was not on sale. I feel okay with the black ones because I only paid $10 a piece, but I spent $20 on the planet one. And $20 feels too expensive for what it is. Overall though, I'm happy with the black ones at the $10 price point. I'd be totally happy if they were all just a little bit wider (like they're supposed to be)

Nice quality!
I bought this as solution to my apartment's window AC unit not allowing me full use of my blackout curtain and it's the perfect solution. It's easy to use and very renter friendly with quick install and good stability. I've had it up for over a month and the adhesive has held even in the high summer temperature. The shade is full blackout as well. Great value!

Good, cheap roll up black out curtain
This is an inexpensive, easy option to darken and cool a room. The quality is in line with the inexpensive price, but that was okay for my needs. I did not trim the roll up curtain, but it seems like you could do that with household scissors. The Velcro seems strong (be sure to position it correctly the first time), and installation was easy. The fabric side looks nice, and that is the part that faces the room. I found it easier to roll up with shiny side out. It definitely darkens the room a lot! I got this for a south facing window that gets a lot of sun, so I think this will help keep this room cooler in the summer and save on energy costs. This is not a fancy product, but I am happy with it.

Does the job well!
I NEVER write reviews but felt it necessary to write one here because I am shocked. These actually worked so well BUT here are my tips. #1– don’t expect quality of something you’d pay $100 for. These are not that. The black part is similar to trash bag material. But I put them behind my other blinds so who cares…the front is more like a canvas material. #2– order a bigger size than your window to prevent light leaks so you can attach it AROUND the window. I used these for my baby’s room, and if you attach them OVER the window (so not to the window itself, but above it, like the frame or molding) it doesn’t let light in. #3– attach them to the sides of the frame as well. This will prevent light leakage. So really don’t attach to the window, would kinda go around it. Use extra Velcro so you can attach it to extra areas, not just the top. I cut little square tabs for the sides. #4 — these are not attractive. Use them BEHIND another set of curtains or shades or something decorative. This helps keep them in place but also hides them. These prevent ANY light from getting into our nursery. Could I make these myself?? Probably. Do I have time for that? Absolutely not. So these do the job! And probably cheaper than if I bought everything separately anyway….. Attached before and after of using just my shades and shades plus this product. The little light is from my air filter. So as you can see, literally zero light leak!! Which is the goal right?

Great cost effective alternative to actual blinds
First of all. If you are looking for a cost effective blackout option. These are 100% what you want to buy. They are flexible, the fabric is thick enough and the support from the plastic rods (more like 3 tumbler straws) is enough to weigh down the fabric and keep them flat. They are customizable because all they are is simply folded up fabric with one hem on the bottom to slide the plastic bar through. I needed temporary coverage and these fit my needs perfectly until I can decide what blinds I want when the rest of my finishes are complete. If you are looking for actual blinds, this is not an average blind you would think of in your mind. It comes with Velcro and a sticky back to secure them. Mine was going on wood in a hot humid location so I just tossed those to the side and decided to use a staple gun as mine were going directly into the frame.. Rolling them and putting the clips on was easy. You will have to roll them up by hand and install the clips like chip clips But overall I would purchase again. I will update again when I see how they keep the temperature down in my she shed. Just set your expectations accordingly and these are a great option! One of mine was missing the 3 plastic rods. I haven’t contacted the company yet for a replacement but I will. I may just get a wooden rod from somewhere else for the bottoms. For added weight. I’m still on the fence about it. Overall decent product considering how expensive blinds are these days.

Very low quality
Do not buy it, the quality is very poor, the packaging is in a plastic bag with a couple of light plastic tubes and clips a double-sided hook loop adhesion tap, and a piece of a slightly thick black cloth not presentable at all.
