Fits perfectly, works perfectly!
I was sick of all the other drains I’ve purchased through the years and decided to peruse Amazon for a really good one. I opened it up, popped it in, ran the water, draining, plugging, and easy to remove the strainer, just as advertised. I couldn’t be happier!! I have a garbage disposal and with this unit including the rubber flaps, I will remove the original nasty old yucky flaps! Yay! Cause with this unit I can remove and clean the whole thing, including the flaps. Go ahead, feel confident in this purchase!!

So Far So Good
I bought a different brand that was supposed to fit over the existing drain, but it didn’t fit. I used the strainer from that kit in the meantime and the black scratched off easily. Not happy! I saw this version with the high ratings and took a chance, although I was expecting it not to work. But it did! It easily slipped over the Insinkerator collar and looks like it is meant to be there. The black hasn’t scratched off at all after 2 months of use. Very happy with this - highly recommend!
